I was ready to take the best offer and run before it was announced Bridgewater may not be good to go. On Petty I won’t take less than our 5th rounder. Unless we have a FA qb we like that we can bring in then I take whatever for Petty, a future 7th. Plenty of average joes out there that can be the 3rd man.
Petty is my candidate for the next Drew Stanton. He's got the tools and the personality. He'll be a good backup for some team.

If he’s a goner for sure you take whatever you can get. I’m not so convinced he is with uncle josh known to get hurt and Darnold a rookie. Wait and see approach see if Teddy is good to go. Never been sold on Petty but we do still need a #3 QB.

Well they'd have to have some faith that Teddy or Hack could actually play. But a guy off the street works just as well after a trade I guess. Maybe that's better after all.
