I basically like and agree with this post except for the bolded sentence. It's impossible to totally separate personal performance vs team talent or system that the QB plays in. Stats are NEVER meaningless. They always reveal some information about the player. Of course one has to take into consideration the system the QB plays in and the talent (or lack thereof) around the QB on that team. Still, some players have a knack for elevating the play of the players around them and making them better, while others don't have that knack. Some players are able to play well and look like they know what they're doing and have the ability to succeed even when there is little or no talent around them, and others do not. IMO when one summarily dismisses some aspect of performance from consideration, one is making a big mistake and may be revealing a bias that one has.

lol, I heard what he actually said.

that he'll need to put away distractions, commit to the game, and demonstrate a work ethic in order to succeed.

that he questions everything, like a typical millennial attitude, and will need the right coaches to work with him.

When was the last time you heard that tepid an endorsement from a HC of a top prospect? maybe Carroll with Sanchez?

Who knew that yards per attempt was the stat that determined NFL success.

thats a pretty weak attempt at a strawman

What is this supposed to mean? There is no comparison between Colt McCoy and Baker Mayfield.

I’ll say one thing. This offseason has been entertaining AF.

Was just watching Josh Allen eating pizza on YouTube. What has my life come to?

I think he means Baker could be a HOF.

    How are you awake?

I’ve seen Bowles’ pressers in ASMR blogs.

Lol. I would rather go thru that than get it from the media in one sentence snippets out of context to elicit reactions and stories.
There's a fair amount of decent info there. Kinda like a state of the team affair. Here's a tidbit about the big 4, "all four guys throw the ball extremely well". I think anybody that has seen them up close has said the same thing.

Well, there you go! That's why they keep Bowles around.

I want to know: was Mayfield's burrito a kids meal or regular size?

Not really my favorite QB in this draft is Sam Darnold i got no problem if you come back at me in two years to verify what i said , Josh Allen is not smart enough to be an NFL QB he has a 3rd round grade if you disregard measurables. My point is i rather lose my job selecting Darnold then selecting Allen the trade up only make sense if Rosen slides we both know Darnold aint sliding.
