That would make them look real schizo. They made this major move a month before the draft to get into the top 3 only to trade out to draft who? Would they recoup all those 2nd round picks or another first. That would be really strange.

Mostly because he passes the eye test. He looks like the real deal. I’m not Ron Wolf but I know when I see talent and this kid is a special talent. He’s a bigger better version of Mahomes. I would listen to some interviews of his coach talking about him.

It is almost as good as that Bills thread last year by a Bills fan here that was started after it was announced that Peterman would start, predicting a HoF career for Peterman. I think he said the Peterman era had begun. I should really go back and read that post it is quite amusing. I wonder if we will think the same in a year or two about these Allen posts. If so I hope he ends up with the Bills.

    I guess a D is considered a passing grade so I can't really disagree.

I sent him some video of how bad Allen mechanics are. All he did in the video was roll out to his right and launch a hail mary 40 yards don the field. Now this was against teams like the Air Force, Idaho. When he wasn't rolling to his right he was running for his life.

After reading some of the posts talking up Mayfield by the fanboys, who's biggest defense of Mayfield is to trash Allan and use that to elevated Mayfield to imaginary levels, I'd say few have watched more than YouTube videos that make any and every QB into a stud QB.

Look guys if u can’t take a risk on a 6’5” 235 lb QB with a cannon arm coming from a pro system that developed a MVP candidate... I’m not sure who u can take a chance on then...

If you replace "developed an MVP candidate" with "developed a Super Bowl starting QB" you could be describing Christian Hackenberg.

I feel bad for Tyrod Taylor. He was the best QB the Bills had in years and finally broke their playoff drought. His reward was to get benched for 5 Picks Peterman and then get traded to the Browns.

Allan is supposed to be a workout freak too, is a gym rat. Have you seen his Wonderlic, I haven't. But you have him as a moron who would struggle with Dick and Jane. Congrats. Marino & Jim Kelley were sub 20, Fitz was 48. It's more than just Wonderlic that makes Wentz so good.

BTW, there is no proof, no shred of evidence that Wentz, any human for that matter, has photographic memory. It's a stupid report that circulated because Peterson was asked if Wentz had it and he didn't say no. Or laugh it off as he should have.

I don't disagree. That doesn't make Allen good. It makes him a guy that looked exactly like Hackenberg coming out of college but with more athleticism.

I don't think being a true Jets fan means you have to blindly support whoever it is they choose wherever they choose him. If so, then I better sell my season tickets. But it sure seems like the theme of this convo is "to each his own" and that applies here as well.

I still think Rosen is the target with Allen the fallback but I do think those that want Mayfield should be ready for some disappointment.
