The guy Bridgewater reminds me the most of is actually Kenny O'Brien. He can be a Pro Bowler if you surround him with talent, but he's not good enough to carry an entire offense completely by himself.

Bridgewater is not as good as O'Brien was. His arm is mediocre and his weak lower body prevents him from amping up throws on a consistent basis with a weight shift.

There's a reason the Vikings avoid endzone passes with him.

If you take away the Vikings run game you're going to beat them most of the time.

I like Teddy and i think he is a good QB but the asking price would be steep. Not to mention he is coming off of a horrific injury...it's not your standard torn acl. He may never be the same player again, so I gotta pass

I'd pump the brakes on this Teddy thing until its clear he can come back. Early reports were his injury was devastating and career threatening, one of the worst they've seen. I think that's why they went after Bradford so strongly, Teddy may not be coming back.

Why would the Jets even consider a QB who's injury was so serious there are question whether he will ever play again?

Because every QB the Jets have played since 2009 has had questions about whether they were good enough to play in the NFL?

The Jets have 4 QB's on the roster right now and between the 4 of them there is a realistic chance that none of them will ever start another NFL game.

teddy is over-rated IMO. His ceiling at best is Pennington I think. Plus coming off a bad injury.

    Because they're the Jets?

In all seriousness, though, got to pass on Bridgewater. Asking price would be too high and the injury is too serious to even entertain the thought.

He's not as good as 2002 Pennington and never will be. And now he has the career threatening injury.

because he is now considered a back up qb and the only thing this board loves more than our back up qb it's another team's back up qb

If my long tenure as a Jet fan has taught me anything its that the #1 attribute of our quarterback should be the ability to take a beating, and Bridgewater just doesn't have it.

Minny would only save $1.3 off the cap if they cut him. If he's healthy, he's a low cost back up; if they cut him or are willing to trade him, that means they know he's toast
