This board always goes crazy on the first day of FA. Everyone pretty much agreed that there were two QB options for Jets in FA, Cousins or McCown yet now that Cousins signed in Minny and McCown is signed everyone freaks out.
I wouldn't mind looking at Jordan Matthews. More of a possession receiver but would fit well in a WCO imo. High character guy. Should be inexpensive.
People forget that he drafted two WR’s last year, and that Enunwa is coming back. Unless you are cutting Anderson or Kearse there won’t be enough targets to go around.

While we may have lost signings a top marquee FA player or 2, still some chances to add depth and solidify some positions. Before going in a panic mode, let’s see what happens today, Day 2 of FA. I like some of the posters picks above for Day 2 and they could get back on track for the draft.
I would be more than happy with Jensen and another CB. My hope for this FA was one of the two centers, a CB and Bridgewater. Add Jensen and Mac has made all my FA dreams come true and more.

No word on Ealy as far as I know. I definitely would be interested in kicking the tires on Poe. Zero interest in Richardson. Why on earth would we want to bring that dumbass back? He's done nothing in the NFL for the last 2 years (or more). The Jets are trying to get rid of dumbasses like that.
Jets and 49ers are in on McKinnon, which if we do land him would mean 2 things 1) Jets will cut Powell 2) Jets fully anticipate trading up in the draft and thus will be unable to draft any RB in the second round because they'll be trading away 2nd round picks to trade up for a QB
If the Jets don't/can't sign Jensen away from the Ravens, then I think they need to sign one of the other FA Cs. Even though I don't like the idea of signing an older FA, even John Sullivan (32) the starting C for the Rams this past season would be better than nothing as a stopgap. Surely Mac will.
