Browns fans have been through alot more. More chokes and they lost their team at a certain point. Yet they pack the stadium and make as much noise as they can. They were going wild on that Bullshit final play.
BTW theres a new Fireman Ed In the House: The Little kid with the mohawk. Now I thought this was a halloween only thing, but now he does this for every game. :lol:
I dont know, I must say, I was at the game today and I was really disappointed to not have fireman ed, it almost felt wrong...but it isnt that big of a deal. Now... I used to sit in section 319 where the other Jets cheer always was (in the upper deck), its run by a guy named Don, and he was the true man who established the chant all the way back to shea, he missed like the past 2 years but i noticed the past 2 games he is back over there, why dont we get him on the screen?
I thought a couple of the flag girls (who also did some pompom stuff) were pretty hot. We were there on the 40 yard line - great day to watch a game.

I don't know if Brown fans have been through more....Also the Meadowlands is in the middle of nowhere, that could be why it's not packed. All the packed arenas around the league are in busy cities.
If you are going to be the representative Jet fan, you don't miss games. He missed at least 3 last year and now one this year. I don't mind him doing the cheer, but I wish he would learn the game after all this time and refrain from doing it when the Jets have the ball. And the Jets should recognize some other fans - some who actually go to the games.
Yeah we tried that but the scumbag politicians got payed off the by the owner of the Knicks. If Dolan would put as much effort into the Knicks as he did preventing the Jets from getting their West Side Stadium the Knicks would bring home rings instead of being the laughing stock of the NBA.
I remember Fireman Ed winning a contest as the # 1 Jets fan a few years ago and thought part of that contest was getting free tickets. But I think even on TV you notice when he is not there
Well let me give you these possibiltiies which I guess you did not consider. He was in a auto accident & is laid up in the hospital. He had a surgical procedure. He was on duty being a fireman. He had family problem that required his attendance. He had decided to go to Thailand to get a good old fashion Thai massage & had bought tickets deciding it was more fun being in Thailand getting massaged then being at the game. I could come up with many other maybes but hopefully others will now say well something must have come up for him to not attend the game in person. I met & talked to him in Miami before a game there & he seem pretty dedicated to me
Please, You're giving the dude way too much cedit. The fact is that this year JETS crowds Suck simply because fake ass fans bailed out early in the season thinking we were going 4-12.
So the "fake fans" that bailed out on the season would be making a ton of noise every week if they went to the games? Something doesn't add up here.
