radar looks impressive right now,,,,,,,temps a problem ? Could be along the coast and LI but we shall see ,,,,currently 37 here ---thoughts ?
Brook , Im just looking at maps the science in this one is very tough and SO much of it I do not understand ----BUT,,,,I think temps "might be an issue" along the coast and I think the Nam #s are always overdone and too high but all the models are still on board with it,,,,,,one of the experts can chime in and correct this novice if they wish but I say you are in that 3 to 6 range,,,,,MY GEOGRAPHY BLOWS I THINK U ARE SOUTH AND WEST OF ME
32 right now in Northern Fairfield County and the Weather Channel says we will get a low of 30 this evening. Looks like this could get really ugly on the roads.
Just got home from Binghamton, started snowing around liberty. Roads here are starting to cover. Grass is already covered.
Just checked out NOAA. I’m on the fringe. Looks like you could do well. Brook could do really well. Must be some cold temps above us though because we are barely below feeezing
I have been outside a while,,,,,,,,not sure how much I have but If I had to guess I would say 6,,,,,,,,lost my tv signal hours ago,,,,,,,,took the dog in the yard it was fun,,,,,,,,still coming down
i'm at 3, still falling, not as heavy as you were getting an hour ago. you could end up at 8" figure another 5 hours of this before it rolls out. enjoy it, it won't be around long
think the end time will be closer to midnight....seems like its closing down pretty quickly west to east. Long Island seems to be the only area that could go til 2 or 3 am.
still snowing here,,,not sure how accurate it is I don't remember if I cleaned it off earlier I was outside a few times but I had 7 1/2 inches on my deck rail 15 minutes ago,,,,,,,wish we had a few more of these in the past month,,,but this one will be gone as quick as it came,,,that said this was a pleasant surprise
So I had ALOT OF WET SNOW ON MY DISH,,,,,never happened before,,,,,cleaned it last nite during storm and still had no signal today,,,,,,I had A LOT of snow on it still this morning ,,,,,,cbs back online and can watch tv,,,,,,ps good storm !!!
Yawner here. Most of the snow is already gone from sidewalks and streets. Nice and sunny outside and 42F. I'll be fishing really soon at this rate.
Good news badness CMAN ----this week gets stupid warm,,,,,could go on even longer BUT long range stuff says possibly the last week or first 2 of March "COULD " be stupid cold and stormy,,,,,,maybe the JAYSTER can chime in on this but it aint over yet
