Guns do make it easier. However, if a deranged person is hellbent on committing mass murder, they will find a way to do so. He could have rented a truck/van, waited for school dismissal and driven through those kids. The body count would have been as high. So, ultimately it comes down to the person, their mental stability and intentions.

Please detail these shootings you're referring to. Are they bullshit "everytown" shootings that include things like a police officer accidentally discharging his weapon in a school zone? Our laws already require federal background checks that include "mental". So how did this guy pass?
Looks like some vlogger reported his post which clearly stated his intentions on what he was going to do but no one really followed up on it. You would think that they would have subpoenaed YouTube and traced down the IP address and investigated this guy but it looks like it wasn't done. Also strange how "Im going to be a professional school shooter," doesn't get you a ban on YouTube but all sorts of petty shit does. Bad police work here.
I'm not going to sit here and list each school shooting this year, just google "AR-15 school shooting" it's there for you to read and the majority of them were using AR-15s. You tell me how did he pass? Maybe the seller looked the other way? Again, don't care if you are mental, etc, time to get rid of weapons like these. the checks aren't working. legal or not legal.
