If the North Koreans and the South Koreans could at least temporarily adopt a spirit of peace and conciliation for the Olympics would it have been asking too much for Mr. Pence to shake a few hands and stand out of respect for the combined team of Korea?
So much for America first.. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/trump-properties-gave-144-jobs-american-article-1.3818600
All the intelligence directors concluded that the Russians helped Trump/GOP in 2016 and will attempt to help the GOP again in 2018. Why do the Russians like Republicans so much? Help the dumb party in America to make us weaker? IDK
Former high ranking White House official Omarosa: "Everybody that's wishing for impeachment might want to reconsider their life. We would be begging for days of Trump if Pence became president, that’s all I’m saying. He’s extreme." The minister's wife added, "I'm Christian, I love Jesus, but [Pence] literally thinks Jesus tells him to say certain things. He is scary"
The one positive about Trump being in office for 8 years is that Woody could be in the UK for so long that we might get a sustainable winning roster built and maybe win a Super Bowl while he's gone.
Trump is "unconvinced" when all of his hand picked directors tell him that the Russians meddled in the election in his favor. He doesn't believe them. He chooses to listen to Putin, a KGB dictator and career liar. Can't make it up.
Another Day, another school shooting. The NRA is right. We should arm everyone. Teachers, cooks, janitors, landscapers, kids, crosswalk guards... https://www.cnn.com/2018/02/14/us/florida-high-school-shooting/index.html
Sadly, any attempt to discuss regulation of firearms will be twisted into a "they're coming for our guns!!!!" narrative. The man who's amendment effectively barred the CDC from doing research on gun violence later said he had regrets about what his amendment did. We managed to reduce our rate of automobile accidents and deaths without taking away people's cars. Maybe, just maybe, we can do similar stuff when it comes to guns.
I love how every time their is a gun violence tragedy, the Right is always quick to say the Left is politicizing the event. Well wtf, when is a more perfect time to talk about gun regulation than right after a horrible event? I don't think anything will get done though. Not for a while. If dead children after Sandy Hook didn't change the Rights mind about wanting to play with guns then nothing will.
The sad thing is that even gun owners and NRA members favor common sense gun regulation, but the NRA leadership acts like any modest regulation on gun ownership is a slippery slope to gun confiscation. Maybe if there was more data on gun violence, we can find out what works and what doesn't.

We hardly know shit about what happened and you want to pass gun control laws. How can anyone take that seriously? Quick, what regulation would have prevented this? They should make having guns on school grounds illegal. That'l do it.
I was merely pointing out the dumbfuckery in assaulting the Left for politicizing gun tragedies because the perfect time to talk about this issue is right after something like this happens. Not weeks and months afterwards, when things have cooled down a bit.
These shootings piss me off. When I was in school if you had a problem with people you settled it the old fashioned way. Ever since Columbine this shit is far too normal.
There were numerous signs of trouble regarding this guy. Yet he was able to obtain numerous firearms, legally I suppose. I am all for psychiatric tests, etc. but the left will politicize this again and try to push for another "assault weapons" ban.
His lawyer said it was purchased legally. Though legally in Florida isn't as challenging as legal in other states like NJ where this kind of thing doesn't happen. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
Not for nothing but there were a lot of cries about politicizing the death of the colts player after he was killed by a twice deported illegal alien. Seems to me both sides like to use tragedies when convenient but criticize the other when it’s not. Now, what needs to be discussed is why this is happening. What’s making people go on these rampages. Guns have been around for ever but this is a fairly new phenomenon. When a fuse blows the problem isn’t the fuse, it’s somewhere in the wiring. So what’s happening in society that’s making all these fuses blow?
I don't believe its a fairly new phenomenon. People have been snapping and going on sprees forever. It's just easier to take out more people now when you do it
To avoid politicizing the issue, it seems like the only response anyone is allowed to have is "thoughts and prayers" to the victims and their families after such a "tragedy" that couldn't be stopped. Instead of getting all uppity, we should just wring our hands and thank God that the NRA and the politicians they've purchased are out there protecting our rights.
