He's tall and fast, so I think I believe that rumor. I just don't think he's worth what he just pulled. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
My only reason for potentially cutting him would be the Culture Change this team began in 2017. Wilkerson will clearly be gone by March. He can go with him if that is the decision they make. I don't think I would cut him just yet, but I would understand if they did.
very true, lawyer up; NFL players got it on speed dial ... was thinking of the everyday person instead of NFL players
Just use this as an opportunity to sign him for cheaper money, im not a fan of letting him go and having him tear it up for another team, let's use this situation to our advantage and get him for cheap, that is of course if he can avoid prison
I love how some of you say you’d “give him another chance” and the charges “aren’t serious enough” for you. You act as if these last two arrests have been his only hiccups. This kid was kicked off the temple football team on 3 different occasions. People in the locker room called him a cancer and a disease. He’s been a shithead his entire life and nothing changed since he’s gotten to the pros. The fact that he is still getting arrested and still getting into trouble all these years later tells me he doesn’t care about changing or becoming a better person. Some people never learn. Stop making excuses for the kid and look at the bigger picture instead of just 2 arrests.
I just heard that they're going to do yet another remake of "The Longest Yard" starring Robbie Anderson
These stories are a dime a dozen. They throw enough shit against the wall, some is bound to stick. In this case that will probably be the traffic offenses since the other crap is blown out of proportion in cop-speak. The charges were enabled by the "clear intent" statements which is a load of BS based on a buffoon shooting his mouth off. The last time he at least was charged with getting physical with the cop. Two game suspension up to four if penalty is combined with previous incident but all the crap from both are going to be pled down. If he finds a smart lawyer they'll set him up doing some kind of charity work with kids before he ever gets near a courtroom.
Glad Bowles has changed the culture from the wild west undisciplined Rex years. This team is all business
No mention of drugs or alcohol in his arrest report and nothing found in his vehicle. Here in FL you can refuse a breathalyzer test if suspected of drunk driving ,a urine or blood test as well.If you refuse , you lose your liscence for a year and can still be charged with DUI , the refusal can be argued as you knowing you were under the influence. If it's a second refusal it's mandatory 18 months loss of liscence and of course you can still be charged.
He's still young but obviously he needs to change and quick He'll get his punishment and will be on very thin ice regardless....if he screws up again he's likely gone due to a long suspension anyway. I'm a fan of winning and Robbie is talented and cheap....if I cared about character that much I wouldnt watch the NFL period. They're here for our entertainment and being a good person is a bonus
Cut the cheap guy with potential or set the example for the rest of the team because of money and potential ? You cut him. Seriously, who in their right mind says that to a police officer ? No one. That is disgusting and disturbing.
But I think people underestimate how much character actually affects winning. If you have a few bad apples in the locker room, it influences everyone's likelihood of playing hard and sticking to their role. Especially if you don't have a solid core of leaders. When your team is young and kind of rudderless, you can't afford to have questionable character infecting the locker room. Yes, there are exceptions like the 90's Cowboys, but their backups were starters on most teams.
There’s no example to set...players know not to do what Robbie did and he’s likely going to face some pretty serious consequences either way He was bombed and probably on something else along with tons of alcohol...no excuses but just stating the facts here He’s got problems but the NFL ain’t a choir boy league...he’ll get help and fix the bullshit or he’ll be out of the league, it’s all up to him. No point in the Jets not reaping the rewards of him turning it around...if he doesn’t turn it around he’s gone regardless, nothing to lose
I would say every team in the NFL has a few young morons who think they get can do whatever they want with no consequences.....he’s shown enough potential on the field where I would let him see if he can get his head straight. If not see ya
