Denver is definitely interested in Baker. They requested to have him put on their roster for the pro bowl. That will give them an opportunity to get to know him and his mental make-up. If they feel comfortable with him after spending the time with him, they could easily draft him. Consider it a long predraft interview
I really want Cousins..if we add him and a bunch of other peices in free agency and draft well we will be a playoff contender next year for sure.We can change the franchise overnight this off season Mac better not fuck it up.I feel like Cousins and a few other signings will make us a win now team not a rebuilding one
I disagree. If Baker is there, Denver takes him. But if Macc likes Baker enough to consider him with his first pick, he shouldn't gamble on him slipping to 6.

Or the 18 for 26 in Arizona for 196 yards? But the rating ia good right? He threw over 30 times in 12 games, hes 5-7. Of the 4 games he threw less than 30 hes .500. Hmmm. Hes only thrown for 300 yards 4 times all season. Of those games hes only won 2. So tell me, how the fuck that means elite? Not to mention he doesnt pass the eyeball test. Statistical.... Sounds good in theory but like alot of posters have discuss here, the stars need to align for any of this to be success. Right head coach, right system to fit either Cousins or the QB that will be replacing him or the right system for the rookie QB. Oh and which offensive coordinator will we be having. That position is currently not filled either.
No to McCown. All he did was set the franchise back. He is almost 40 years old and bringing back does nothing absolutley nothing.
If/When Cousins goes elsewhere i'd sign a FA QB either McCown or someone similar, then draft a QB With the #6 overall pick or trade up. Then hopefully the rookie or Hack can start the season with a solid vet backing them up.
Cousins would be fantastic. I really like this qb class but if we can get Cousins that’s a guy who’s been there and can win.
If the Jets do not sign Cousins and are either totally or in part depending on the draft I wonder if they can't get Rosen, Darnold, Allen at their #6 pick (which seems possible) that their plan B might be Falk in the 2nd round. For some reason I just can't picture these Jets hitching their wagon to either Mayfield or LJackson. Falk though seems like a guy that might be compatable. I'm not saying that possibility is all that thrilling but I just wonder...
