White Xmas ? Euro says rain and too warm,,,,most other models say nada,,,,but GFS says snow Xmas Day especially inland . Lets see if the others come around or is the GFS out to lunch,,,,, Thoughts ?

New gfs has the snow staying north of us thru Christmas, maybe a little back end snow Christmas Eve early morning as cold air fills in behind the warm front rain maker Saturday. Maybe a snow rain snow event?
FJAY the models have been all over the place with all these events its just nuts. Gfs says one thing Ukie says another , Euro says something else,Canadian says nothing at all , its just nuts. This is why even though I like what they are spitting out for the 28th -30th I would rather this weekend pan out as I think whatever they are saying long range is meaningless as they can't even be accurate within 2 days of the events !
I was going to let this weekend sort itself out before I brought up the 28th-30th but if I have a choice on which one hits us,give me next weekend. Much bigger potential there

I watched Bernie yesterday and he thought it was more of a western event UNLESS the system digs farther south also depending where the ULL was that steers this thing. Well some of last nights guidance moved more EAST and MORE SOUTH except for the GFS which I will ask again ----is it out to lunch ? BTW Dec 28th thru 30th = sweet dreams for CBG lol
Well, newest gfs brought the Christmas snow back to us. Not Much 1-3 range but it’s there. From Friday evening thru Saturday is rainy/snowy /icy u til eventually turning to all rain. NYC I think should stay almost all liquid for this. Christmas Eve late into Christmas morning a 1-3 event ? Than all eyes on next weekend. Maybe jay pops up for that one?
FJAY as of this morning it is still game on for ALL OF US for a white Xmas that said If Jay does not make a cameo in the upcoming few days I will put up the bat signal and or take a ride from Gotham to the bat cave and talk the caped crusader into posting his damn thoughts about the 28th thru the 30th---------it might be time to get your skis ready kids !
Gfs 12z our thru Christmas morning gives 1-3 across nyc north west jersey up through the hv. This is Sunday night to Monday morning. Much of the northeast will wake up to a white Christmas.
18z puts a rain snow just south,i mean just south of nyc. long island gets rain, central, south jersey and the shore get some back end snow but no accumulations. c,we're in a solid 3 " zone.an over achiever wouldn't surprise me. nyc is the battle ground . mixing issues may kill any chance at accumulations there. albany, northern conneticut, mass all big winners with this one. 6-9" possible. now,i don't want to rush through christmas and hope we have a white christmas but next weekend, oh boy. there is something brewing. we'll get more on it after this event clears but i have a feeling @jaywayne12 will be popping in soon. so, tomorrow-rain chrismas eve seasonal and dry for your last minute running around, snow starting late for some, rain for others. christmas morning storm clears out cold,windy than all eyes on the weekend .
