    His mechanics are terrible. Couldnt be more opposite qbs today. Brees is almost machine like in his consistency. Theres no excuse for Petty, im sorry. At this level you should know the mechanics and you done need coaching to work on them.

    KW , I am sure he will but it will be A LOT harder for the kid to complete passes when the other team is up by 20 and KNOWS that he HAS TO throw,,,,,,thats assuming that Bowels does not choose to start running out the clock in the 3ed quarter

    Yeah, no doubt. I can't disagree with anything you're saying. I'd actually like to see him let Petty start flinging the ball a little now before the game gets completely out of hand.

    Uhhhh thats what bad players do. You can't magically make them change as a coach. Theyre still bad players. Thats like buying a car that needs repairs and expecting it to run like new because you said so.

    Sorry... but you're incorrect.. Not saying he stopped every single one but the D played that well vs the Pats and Colts... Do you remember the playoffs? I watch every JETS game 2-3-4 times each time looking at different things (I have gamepass) and I will tell you for a fact, our D played that WR/Bubble screen Extremely well...

    Hate on Rex, fine but don't distort actual facts of what happens.

    I dunno what games you were watching, but screens literally killed the jets his entire tenure. He had revis in his prime to take away deep threats allowing his LB to be more downhill. To say he handled the screen is ridiculous, because every time we played a team with speed, we got blown out. Thats why we drafted lee in the first place, lack of speed at lb

    Bad coaching and bad players are mutually inclusive; they both can exist simultaneously as they do with the Jets. I'd venture to say the coaching on the defense is worse than the talent. We are grossly underperforming on that side of the ball. The talent dictate we should be a lot better.
