I really worry when I hear people not treating it as a high risk asset.

Yes, it's scary - people literally taking out loans for this now.

In the short term its risky, but in the long term its not. This technology is here to stay, this is not going anywhere, this is the VERY beginning of an adoption of a new way currencies will be handled.

The price is nothing more than an indication of the amount of users participating. As more people participate the price will get higher and higher, and Bitcoin will get more valuable and more valuable.

But is it valuable? I would say yes, but its still speculative as to how valuable, this could be the be all end all, or it could just be side currency that never actually establishes. I am more inclined to believe it will establish itself...

Defensive of what? Why don't you check what I have stated, just a week ago LTC was $90 while I said it would breeze through the $100s, it already has.

Gotta love how, a few down days, people celebrate. I am used to down days, I actually enjoy the down days more than the ups sometimes, because the ups make me nervous as to when I should sell. Consolidation is fine. BTC, LTC, ETH have already exceed all expectations of my own for 2017.

Bought like 1 bitcoin to buy some weed online a few years ago. I have like .2 bitcoin at the moment, not sure what to do with it. I think I'll just buy a shitload of more weed before it crashes.

Dude calm down. No one is celebrating, honestly wanted know what you were thinking, you were on top of it during the whole climb and when it started to dropped was actually wondering what you thought was the new floor. Not sure why you are being so defensive about it.

I have a friend who has been killing it lately with cryptocurrency. He invested in bitcoin and lightcoin a few months back and they have both gone up a lot. There are actually tons of cryptocurrencies out there waiting to explode. Digital secure currency is the future. He bought a little bit of XRP (Ripple) and it went up a lot this week. It might be worth it to just invest in a random cheap one, because you could literally buy $20 worth and 10x your investment. If you leave it in long enough and it catches on you could make millions. I wish I invested in bitcoin a few years ago. People have become millionaires over that.

Bitcoin to 23k to 25k according to TB by January 1st, perhaps even 30 but thats a stretch he said, I hope his results continue to be correct.....

Eth should be at 800 soon, said it before the surge the other day actually.

    So before years end:

    BTC 23k to 25k
    LTC 520 to 600

    By 2019
    LTC to 5k-6k

I think BTC drops by monday some...Just my guess based off the new futures going up and big players getting in. I will buy and HODL some more, I also am seeing shit ton of issues with Coinbase, worried it may eventually get hacked and be Mt.Gox 2.0

I will be a hardware wallet to be safe

Get in before Christmas if you are trying to. After thanksgiving, Coinbase downloads exploded and Bitcoin went from 9k to 19k in days time. Now all those people who joined after thanksgiving will be sitting at Christmas dinner gloating the same, and it could shoot up to 30k before the end of the year.

Its approaching 20k right now, likely see a dip to probably 18.5k and then surge back up, lot of people will sell at 20k and a lot of people will be wanting to buy in to.

Because it becomes easier the more time you stare at it. Trader boss, is saying once we break 20k successfully we could easily see a surge to 30k before new years.

However most of this information I continue to post, IS NOT FROM ME, I am just relaying the information that has just continued to be accurate for months and months, and weeks and weeks. I am being now told both ETH and LTC will be in the multi-thousands in either Q1 or Q2 of next year. ($2000+ for both of em)

Also for alt coins, get in Popolous, OMG, QTUM, (and a few others.) All from TB/Cliff

I through in $800 at OMG a week ago, now worth over $2000.
