The worst thing Trump has done as president is to comment on this causing a month of media flooded with talk about something as inconsequential as whether football players stand for the national anthem before games or not. The asshole should comment about how women should NOT be going around topless to make it up to us.
Sarcasm? But, I will bite. 1. EPA budget cut? 2. Handling of Puerto Rico natural disaster? 3. He has rolled back policies that were put in place to protect women's rights. We are absolutely in idiocracy right now
I didn't intentionally tell a fib when I said that's all I have left to say about it, but hear me out on this part again. I'M BORED.
What the NFL owners need to do is sit down with the NFLPA and hammer out a policy on this, or enforce the policy that's in place. It looks like they're supposed to be doing this where they sit down and discuss it. Because what the players don't realize is that this is eventually going to hurt their wallets in the long run. Not to mention, their kneeling protests aren't about what Kaepernick wanted them to be about. They're just kneeling because they're being told they shouldn't be doing it. People aren't discussing the hot button issues the protests were supposed to help correct. They're discussing the kneeling itself. It's counterproductive and hurting the ratings. What the owners should do, is now agree to not raise the salary cap until it stops. If they're not going to fine them, then that'll hit them in the wallets. Less money for the players, whom are protesting while on the clock for their current employers.
i think these players and the nfl need to come up with some kind of program where they help address these issues. I know there some already like united way. But , maybe something exclusive to nfl players . They have the money and platform , and if they really care so much let's see them put their money where the mouth is. People are talking about the kneeling mostly because the sjw crowd still hasn't realized that you don't ask people to listen while slapping them in the face. And most people see right through multi million dollar athletes looking to make a spectacle and not doing anything to actually help anything. For every kid they influence to "take a knee", it's another kid that may end up losing their chance to play football etc.
NFLPA and owners already have a meeting set and owners can't do anything about the cap going up (or possibly down). The cap is a percentage of total league revenue, only way it goes down or stays the same is if revenue goes down or stays the same.
Demanding people idolize flags and do whatever the government says or they should lose their jobs is pretty fascist.
It's already happening that's why there was such an abrupt about face done by Goodell and the league. The boycotts by the consumers that actually matter are starting to hurt They may end up in legal trouble it they go the benching route for kneelers. Ultimately for next year they'll probably just keep both teams in the locker room for the anthem since it's pretty clear the players can't be trusted to not pull these dopey stunts anymore. So it'll be out of sight, out of mind
That's not what was said. Trump said wouldn't it be nice if the owners took action . Still don't agree with him chiming in, but the word fascism is used out of context these days
