i do realize that eyewitness accounts can be unreliable , especially in some thing like this . But there are people that weren't even at the show, but in other hotels that have accounts that are being ignored. If you listen to the full police scanner audio, about an hours worth, you an hear them getting calls of active shooter at at least 5 hotels. Most were unsubstantiated. But who was making the calls? Sounds to me like diversions so someone could escape. And what I "think " may have happened , my own opinion (I have to lay that out for you because that is all it is), is that there were more involved in this.
I've said it from day one and I stick to it. I feel that he did this involved with someone else or others that planned on offing him and making him the fall guy.
A few things that have been documented that give it reasoning : key car used while car out of garage, receipt shown with food for more than one,he was seen with mystery person, person in crowd telling people something was going to happen ,videos that seem to show sound from more than one weapon.

In my last sentence I was saying that there are people who will hang on to the media for every drop of truth in this situation, like I'm assuming you are: and then when a cop shoots someone and the marches and riots start, many of those same people will be claiming the cops are lying and the official story is a lie. I guess everything in the end boils down to politics and what you choose to believe.

Seriously? There is nothing about this that would imply "tactical military style way". He's shooting a fully automatic gun into a super densely packed crowd. Any untrained monkey could have hit hundreds of people. And it wouldn't take much target practice to hit as many people as he did. A few weekends at the range is more than enough time to learn how to aim.

War zone? It's a metaphor. Jesus Christ. War zones imply dead bodies and bullets flying, not the number of combatants.

What footage would it show besides him carting bags to his room? Something that wouldn't be suspicious at all at a hotel/casino.

And yes, it 100% has to be a nutjob conspiracy theory.

Saying it has to be a nut job conspiracy is pretty ignorant. Especially when you are going off a narrative that includes a shooter that has no known political affiliation, no history of violence , no record, no online footprint , no one who has ever crossed his path that would feel he would do this and the best they can come up with is his anger toward his gambling habits... you would think that if that were the case he would have taken his aim in some way towards the many gambling establishments and not a concert that has nothing to do with vegas except for 3 days of location. It could very well be that the story is correct, but don't dismiss everything just because you heard it on the news. You're one of the ones I have seen parading the notion that the story is wrong when it come to the cops shooting shooting someone even if the justice system has favored the cop. Not sure you can have it both ways

Agree with the bolded sentence up until home invasions, but of course that comes with quantifiers. I would say the Tate/La Bianca murders fit the technical, standard definition of terrorism (political aim of starting a race war). However, the definition wasn't fully devised at the time and wasn't even in the conversation. However, all the papers and the tabloids called it a night of unspeakable terror. And, those turds would've kept going if they weren't caught. Serial killers, that's another one. Even if they have no political affiliation and just hate their mothers, I would consider that terrorism. It just depends on how one wants to look at the term on a personal level. And a personal level doesn't make it so according to the definition.

Timothy McVeigh wasn't formally charged with domestic terrorism (I'm sure a crap ton of people are unaware of that), even though he said his motivation was purely out of hate for the United States gov't. Yet most of us call it domestic terrorism, and rightly so. It has been classified as such, and most of us accept that it was.

Dylan roof wasn't charged with domestic terrorism, either (also race war). In fact, Comey balked at that, possibly because he didn't want to open Pandora's Box, but he openly said it was because it didn't fit the definition. I think the best that can be said is that the application of the term and being charged as such is off-kilter and wildly inconsistent. I'm open to learn and readily admit when I'm wrong. Opinions are not facts, and my opinion was not factual in the early stages of the thread, which I readily admitted. More a knee-jerk emotional reaction because I just couldn't believe it.

Anyway, JetBlue, I'm not trying to be contentious. Just food for thought. Do I, by my own standards, think Stephen Paddock was a domestic terrorist? Yes. But, again, opinions are not facts. For good or bad, I imagine the term will be modified as well as the application at some point. Good Day, Sir.

To say it doesn't fit a perfect narrative so it must be a cover-up or setup is conspiracy theory nutjob at its best. People snap. Just because some old guy doesn't live his life on the net (shocker) doesn't mean he didn't have motives.

found this video interesting . especially from the 330 mark on. its showing the far side of the crowd from the mandalay. these people all start moving out before the music stops. in other videos you see most people that were on the closer side just kind of stare around for a min or 2 even after the music stops. what happened 1st on this side, and why in the world would an unexperienced shooter start aiming at people in the crowd as far away as possible. 1st shots here sound like single shots . just an observation, dont want railbird to get all upset

glad to see its all so simply explained. glad to see anything other than the official narrative in one of the most confusing happenings in our time is not to be deviated from. Anyone in the crowd who feels otherwise,ah nevermind

It's one thing to question it and another to speculate wild BS that can be explained by simple common sense.

Posting a picture of a fraction of a door which is mostly covered up and insinuating something has to be wrong is wild bs. Looking at a super long hallway and not seeing the entire place covered in bulletholes so it must be false is wild BS. Posting a video and saying they hear gunshots from multiple directions when it's clearly just echoes is wild BS.

The government and police have much better shit to do than make up elaborate plots like this that don't benefit them in any way.

The crazy conspiracy theories are in line with saying gravity isn't real, the government just put a magnet in the Earth which pulls us down. It's absurd.

That may be in some dictionaries but is not a requirement of the law:

Section 802 of the USA PATRIOT Act (Pub. L. No. 107-52) expanded the definition of terrorism to cover ""domestic,"" as opposed to international, terrorism. A person engages in domestic terrorism if they do an act "dangerous to human life" that is a violation of the criminal laws of a state or the United States, if the act appears to be intended to: (i) intimidate or coerce a civilian population; (ii) influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or (iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination or kidnapping. Additionally, the acts have to occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the United States and if they do not, may be regarded as international terrorism.

No. It is obvious you are the one who does not "understand what they are reading." Here is the passage you don't seem to understand: "if the act appears to be intended to..." that word "appears" is there on purpose, it did not just get there by accident. Appearance is all the law requires.

Now, take your last sentence and read it to yourself in the mirror if you choose to throw around juvenile personal attacks, as usual.

riiiiight. I guess the government has never done anything to civilians. lol.

I hang doors like that on jobs all the time I know them in my sleep.,instead of saying its wild, prove me wrong.

I'm not saying the police are involved,im saying it looks like he had help....could be a like minded group or person.

clearly echoes? I think if you are formulating such a strong opinion, you need to go and listen to more videos etc.

The source of many of the things you claim have been "documented" is unclear and judging by at least one clip you have posted there certainly are conspiracy theorists at work here. When terms as "ritual" and "false flag" and "deep state" are bandied about and similarities to an alleged government conspiracy on 9/11 are made and numerology is promoted as proof of some kind of covert government operation, there are problems for most people who are independent thinkers, able to filter for themselves what they choose to believe.

If some individual or group out there has, as you choose to believe, chosen to set up Paddock as a "fall guy," don't you ask yourself "Why?"

There's no evidence he needed help to do what he did though.

And yes, clearly echoes. That happens when a lot of tall buildings are near each other..

I didn't post them for the source or commentary. Just the sounds or images. The video with the door was just the best shot of the door I could find.

Nothing about his act "appears" to be intended to intimidate or coerce the civilian population instead of simply the isolated attack on his direct victims.

"appears" doesn't support your argument one bit because the shooters intent is still what the relevance of "appears" depends on. And there is no indication he had any intent to intimidate or coerce civilians; he just wanted to kill those who were there.

Ignoring intent and focusing on appears doesn't support your position. Luckily for you nobody on these boards is surprised by your inability to grasp this concept so we won't think less of you.

I guess anyone getting shot is an act of terrorism then, carjacking = terrorism, mugging = terrorism.

Maybe take another look at the area and tell me again how many tall buildings are near the mandalay, close enough to produce echoes . This is not NYC. Look at a sky view of the area there is only one possible echo scenario, and that is the echo bouncing off the l shape of the mandalay
