Our society is just terrible with this. It's like we're openly challenging other psychopaths to see if they can match what this psychopath dude. No one should own more than one of these weapons. I'm still up in the air about what I feel about guns and if I think they should be allowed. One things for sure. There needs to be a limit on military grade weapons. Maybe two, one for a husband and wife. There is no need to have 42 of these though. We set ourselves up for things like this to happen by the pro-gun paranoia of 'Rah I need 10 semi-automatic rifles because because self-defense!' With that being said. I comfortably challenge anyone to enter my home at night. I know the landscape of my house and have a 31 ounce bat ready for an intruders forehead.

He apparently purchased a lot of these firearms legally, no? I honestly don't have a problem with people wanting to arm themselves. I can comfortably say I don't think I necessarily need to. If the zombie apocalypse happens, then I'm going to be hunting and defending myself against them like a tribesmen.

I don't think these people knew the severity of the situation at 1st. People already had their phones out showing the concert, now when some thing weird starts happening It's just second nature to start recording it.

Ability to own enough guns and ammo to shoot over 500 people in one go? A right. Ability to get healthcare for those 500+ people who got shot? A privilege. Shits fucked up.
He didn't really need any scopes or red dots. Iron sights that any rifle comes with would have been more than enough as long as he can control recoil. Apples to oranges really. You can have whatever healthcare you want, as long as you have the money. Same thing with the guns, with some restrictions and depending on what state/city you live in.
So, they just said that he had a total of 47 firearms. I can understand having 10-15 but 47.... geeeez
Well, you just made a comparison with guns, right? If you don't have tons of money, you can't buy good/many guns either. The state is not going to pay for your guns. Why should it pay for your healthcare?
