Whether he's an antifa supporter or isis seems the most likely to me. They both fall under the same umbrella of radical anti American and western sentiment

This is exactly what I was thinking. It makes not sense at all. All this information coming out about show no signs of motive or mental illness. Of course they immediately took down his Facebook so there is no chance that we could see more into who he was. There is a video out there claiming that he was at an anti-Trump rally, but it cannot confirm that it is actually him. Also, the Asian girl that he was with was apparently involved with leftist organizations, but I cannot confirm what his political affiliation was. In the end it doesn't matter, this shit is disgusting.

We still don't know the agenda that was driving the terror. Paddock has no clear agenda or motive for the massacre at this point. He apparently gave no indications beforehand nor left any notes or other statements suggesting he was going to do this.

It's very possible that the authorities actually have information that provides an agenda but have not released it yet. In the absence of a clear motive or agenda this looks just like mass killing for the hell of it and our taboos are so strongly against that type of atrocity that it makes me wonder a bit.

Would that be the same umbrella under which the Oklahoma City bombing and Columbine High massacre happened?

Your manner of arguing is embarrassing to the people who are on your side and try to convey the points with intelligence. At some point one side has to act like the bigger people, I would appreciate it if it was the side I agree with. You jumping right in with cursing and name calling doesn't help that and frankly makes the whole pro gun side look ignorant.

It does matter because these forces are likely to strike again. There's such a vitriolic hatred for this president and people who voted for him. I'd advise taking steps to defend yourself however you feel comfortable and keeping your eyes and ears open in the coming months. We're entering a very dangerous period in this country right now and I'm not just saying that to exaggerate or scare people

It's clear to you based on absolutely no evidence?

I got irritated with that guy but I think I've made a few good points on why as it always is in the aftermath of something like this the attacks on the Second Amendment are misguided

Mate this guy was armed to the teeth. It's obvious to anyone with a brain that he was prepared for a long time to carry this out. This wasn't just a workplace shooting in a spree of anger. He planned the whole thing out; you have to book a vegas hotel months in advance. Use some common sense ffs

Have there been things in the past that isis has claims responsibility for that turned out not to be?

Definitely. Mcveigh and the columbine shooters were both atheist radicals. The media tried to spin it that mcveigh was a Christian but it wasn't so. Either way he clearly rejected American principles by resorting to that sort of violence

I thought the same thing about the genre of the music. Surely not a coincidence. A lot of red votes in that crowd. Need more answers. Not really buying the isis claim. White guy traveling with an Asian lady operating mode isis? Heck of a stretch to get there for me

I get rooms on the strip the day I'm coming in, so while he may have booked in advance to get that particular room, I don't see it being that hard to just ask for a room on an upper floor with a southern view, or whatever way he was facing.

You said some entity was behind this, absent absolutely any proof, so don't tell me to use common sense, you obviously aren't.

There may have been a group behind it, but at this time it looks like a single person just snapped, making it a grand conspiracy pulled off by ANTIFA or ISIS is just pulling shit out of your ass.

They claim responsibility for anything they can even though they just heard about it on the news same as everyone else.

There's gonna be other details I'm sure. One person couldn't pull this kind of thing off imo. No chance

You don't even know what these forces are yet. Read a Breitbart comments section to see why people don't like Trump supporters. Or the way you're going just read your own posts.

Other than the massive carnage, this motive is no different than the so called lone wolf who shot the Louisiana congressman in the spring. Who goes to country music concerts ?
