Yep, Mayweather was the perfect opponent for McGregor. Most other boxers wouldn't just sit back for three rounds and let McGregor come at them, but that's just how Mayweather fights because he doesn't believe he's going to get caught by anyone. McGregor won the early rounds because Mayweather let him. He wouldn't be given that luxury by other boxers. The 10 rounds of this fight has to be looked at in the same way as Mayweather's 50-0 record. Sure, it's in the record books but the context of both aren't that impressive.
The fight was entertaining and worth the money but it was more of an exhibition than a real fight..Floyd is over the hill and never fought that style in his life...Conor doesn't have the power, technique,or stamina to be a legitimate boxer..it was a fun fight but a little frustrating people are taking it so seriously and giving Conor so much credit..he looked pretty awful to me but he looked good because Mayweather just stood there.
thats right, i had no intentions of watching till brook came through with the turkish feed, crystal clear but no idea what they were saying
I was thinking the same thing at the time. It looked like Mayweather was baiting McG for a disqualification
Should've been a point deduction. He got him with the hammerfist at least three times. Also, re: turning back: Referee can end the fight saying the fighter is tapping out/throwing in the towel. It's happened before.
Claude Lemieux makes Quasimodo look good re: Brook. Our parking cost got raised in a desperate bid to keep the Devils in NJ and out of Tennessee. Thanks ye fukkos.
