And what assumption do I have to assume that Kap will lose his team money when Vick, Stallworth mentioned above, Greg Hardy, etc have not lost their team's money? Did the Niners lose money after Kap's protest? If they did, then I'm mistaken, but I saw nothing that was reported to suggest that Kap hampered their business.

I appreciate that you aren't addressing me personally, and this isn't meant to be personal, either, simply a further exploration of the conversation. I'd like to point out that, aside from the sentence in bold above, I agree with your stance. Further, I may not even wholly disagree with that sentence. While you may be correct that there is no "Right time/way/place" to carry out a protest, I would say that there certainly is such a thing as a "Wrong time/way/place" to carry out a protest. The Westboro Baptist Church demonstrations at fallen soldiers' funerals, for instance, are, in my opinion, the absolute wrong time/way/place to carry out a protest. They could protest for the same cause in some other way and get a much more positive reception. Kap could have protested in another fashion and garnered a much more sympathetic response. Kap's protest is not in the same league as the WBC demonstrations, but the comparison does illustrate the point, I think.

I certainly agree that the most of the folks shouting the loudest about the protest usually have the least to be upset about. Also, I'll reiterate that, in my opinion, his cause was, and continues to be, worthy of protest. Just not in the way he chose to do it.

This is technically true, but everyone knows that the Jets wanted him for the Wildcat Gimmick, and the Eagles and Pats were both sure they could talk him into playing TE or FB. Nobody was really giving him shots to be the starting QB, or even the #2 QB.

    And rightfully so.

Not sure why you think you can speak for not just a group of people but everyone. You get posters complaining non stop about some players that don't even have Kaep's baggage and you thunk no one will complain about him?

It's clear to me why he is not in the league, his talent level does not surpass the other aspects of having him on the team. When injuries happen it may make a team look past his baggage but not now.

Have you even bothered to look at Tebow jersey sales? Just look at attendance at minor league games now, attendance doubled at visiting team parks.

If you paid attention you would even have noticed a big influx of Tebots on this website.

He sucked but was still a draw making it worth it to teams.

Very familar with Hearst. Listen if your rich enough you can get anybody to believe and say what you want. But if you're a prisoner of war you're a traitor if you try to use that defense. Sorry didn't buy her story as a kid and don't buy it now. Poor people can't use that excuse. That's some weak trust fund baby nonsense. Did Bundy and his family have a stand off against law enforsement? I don't need to know about his recent incarceration or his preference of toilet paper. Very simple stand off or not due to taxes.

I have already posted that according to a poll of fans who attend games, the number one reason given for watching less games was Kaep's protests. Less fans watching game's equals less money for the teams and the league.

Good for you, you ignore that a known psychological syndrome exists.

As for Cliven Bundy, you don't want to know whether he is currently incarcerated in relation to his tax debts and the stand off, why bring it up.

I originally didn't bring it up. I bought up the stand off with law enforcement. So let me be clear once again cause this is the 3rd time today, it's been mentioned. I'll type it slower this time. Bundy had a stand off and pointed guns at law enforcement. Was not arrested for weeks and had enormous support from Fox News and right wing zealots. Kaepernick kneeled...the end. One is protected by the Constitution the other not so much. I was going to leave it up to you to guess which one but that could be dangerous. Its the Kaep one.

The problem lies in the fact that you write something thinking you are making a point and when that gets blown up you make it about something different. You brought up Bundy and Hearst claiming nothing ever happened to them when in fact both ended up in jail.

So Bundy had supporters, so did Jim Jones. Kaep has supporters, unfortunately for him no BLM supporters own an NFL team.

I guess reading isn't your thing, my post stated viewership was down and it was, by 8%. That amounts to 1.4 million viewers per Nfl game.

That in turn will effect sponsorships and television deals, in other words, money.

The first time In decades that viewership had gone down.

Not surprising that you are going to once again attempt to label someone.

I'll post what i said when he first started kneeling and then I'm done since this all seems to be going in a circle.

"You can do all that as it is your right just like it is anyone's right to protest how they choose. Did you know that many of these protests were going on before the news got a hold of them? It seems it is only now that people are getting bent because the news is telling them to. I don't agree at all with Kaepernick or any of the others but because we live in America I realize it is their right to do so."

"As always, what you can get away with at work generally boils down to your worth to the company. If Kaepernick still has enough worth to the 49ers then he will still have a job."

He obviously does not have enough worth asst this time.
