I think U need NYJ history lesson. The best team EVER was the 69 NYJs who won SB3. The 2nd best team was the 70 NYJs who lost to KC in the POs. Now since nobody gives out prizes for also ran's which we will be in the 17 season how can we be the "best" team as U posted?

I think the defense has the chance to be special but at the end of the day we can't be a good team without a quality QB.

i do not think the jets record for 2017 will be any better and far likely worse. However, two BIG additions by subtraction is the "loss" of both Revis and Fitzpatrick. They were two of the worst players IN THE LEAGUE last year and no balls bowles would not bench or deactivate either. Also, for all the run stuffing Harris provided, he got picked on in coverage all the time on 3rd down with short passes to RBs (first down!). Hopefully they learn more about what they got so they can draft a QB and be competitive in 2018 and beyond. Hey Mac, DRAFTING an offensive lineman once in a while would not hurt either (2 total in 3 drafts and both in the 5th round).

gone are days of Revis mailing it in or Harris 'leading through example'.

welcome to the new young and hungry Jets....I don't think we're going 0-16 this season!

Technically, Champ, he said best team in a "long, long time" so that really depends on how you define time. The Jets have not fielded a great team in my eyes since 2010. Haven't won a Super Bowl since the 1968 season. The 2015 team was good, will this 2017 team top that? Doubtful, but depends.

Not seeing the back of Calvin Pryor's jersey every week while he chases someone into the end zone will automatically make this season more enjoyable than last season.

LOL! Nice post. Calvin Pryor's idea of pass defense: Take two steps back after the snap and get ready to yell for help.

We both know he isn't right. This team is gonna get exposed on all sides of the ball.I would love for some kind of shocking year where we end up being good but I'm just not seeing it.Im very interested in seeing Hackenberg in the preseason...I'm curious to see where he's at.

if players put their names on the front of their jerseys we wouldn't even know who Pryor was ;)
