Doesn't matter. They have far and away the worst QB room.

Is that a special room where the QBs get to hangout? I wonder if it has a pinpong table........ or a real comfy leather sofa and mini fridge stocked with cold beer....

I'll agree with that. Which is why the Adams pick was more impressive. Even with bad QBs they didn't panic and take one of those guys yesterday. Every single one of those teams that took a QB yesterday; Chicago, KC, Houston... they are ALL going to regret it. They all paid hefty prices for guys who wont end up panning out for what was put on the line for them

KC wanted to pick QB before NO and CLE had their turn.
They made the perfect move to just 1 spot ahead of those 2 teams, to #10.

    MacC @ #6 couldn't compete with Bill's price @ #10.

They should have 2 more 3rd rounders. They should trade out of the 2 spot. Macc needs more ammo cause his roster currently is awful. The 2nd round has been death valley for the Jets franchise. Change up and do something different.

I didn't say just repeated what was said. Bowles let the team and locker room deteriorate that is all him. let's look at his coaching. It was as bad as I've seen and that includes the Kotitte years. The team was unprepared all year and that should get you fired.

The jets have quite a bit of young talent on defense. Last year the Jets were bad but I don't believe they were outclassed from a talent standpoint. They just had the worst QB in the league (still do) and a staff that couldn't fix the same mistakes made over and over. (still do) and a lot of players quit. (still might). Most of the games the jets won, they won simply because they had more talent. (buffalo 2nd game, 49ers, browns).

The Jets have a better roster than the Browns, 49ers, bears and rams at least and probably more. Doesnt mean we wont be worse than them this year or that I'm not on board for tanking, I am. But I believe its false to say they have the worst roster in the NFL

My goodness I will actually be hoping we don't win a game next season
Plus 100...the team needs many players

And what are of the odds of this happening?

Maybe a little better than looking for a partner in round one because the Jets price might cost the other team a little less

Mac should try to secure a 2018 first round pick if he cant get more 2017 third rounders or both. Maybe we get lucky

I would hope Macc would ask for more honestly. The value of the trade for the Chiefs to get from 27 to 10 was not bad. It's the fact that they took a project QB when they got to 10.

i dont see ho you can argue with us having the worst roster.... and saying "if it were true we would pick 1st not 6th" ignores that we cut alot of guys from the team that finsihed with the 6th worst record. so we got worse since our draft positioning was set.

-We have no QB an the prospects we have dont look very good with low upside
-We have next to no talent at skill positions. avg or worse runningbacks, no tight end, Decker is a #2 who is always hurt and enunwa looks solid but far from some top 15-20 WR
-We have a crap oline with no talent at Tackle.
-We have no edge rushers outside of mauldin who is so so.
-our linebackers are average and the only good young guy is lee who is a hybrid
-our secondary is pretty average. Adams is a huge addition but still weak at corner

Defensive line is an obvious strength. outside of that we have crap and we also suck at the 4 most important spots (QB, LT, LCB, edge rusher)

    who has less talent?

Clady and Marshall were non-existent. We still have Forte... Mangold was on his way out as well.

One of them will be fine. No idea who, although I am leaning a bit towards the Texans and Watson.

The Raiders did it right. They just held their breath and let Carr fall to them. These three all got panicky and traded up and two of them are likely screwed at this point. Maybe Mahomes will be good in 3 years.

While picking Adams was a "no brainer", and he will certainly help, I don't know if he'll have as big an impact as say Mahomes, or Haason Reddick, McCaffrey or Howard would have. He was certainly a much safer pick than Mahomes, or really any of them, but in the long run, I don't know. One Safety, no matter how great can stop a Brady or any good QB from picking them apart.
