When you say top 10 pick that suggests he could go in the top 5. He will not go in the top 5. He will go anywhere as high as to the Jets at 6, and no later than the Browns at 12. Also, Rodgers is not a comparable player or situation to Trubisky. I also have not seen a single viable 'expert' say he will go before 6. The majority of 'experts' basically state what I just did.
many people predicted him at 2 and 3 before the signings of hoyer and glennon. even with hoyer SF could still grab him at 2. we all know browns are taking garrett. it's a no brainer (although 2 years ago we all "knew" Leonard Williams was going 1st and he fell to 6 for us). jax and tenn at 4 and 5 aren't taking a QB so if he falls from the top 3 it could be us at 6 or even SD at 7 or the bills at 10. so realistically speaking out of the top 10 teams SF, NYJ, SD, Buff all could take him. 11 and 12 is cleveland and NO 2 more teams. so one of those 6 will take him. he won't pass top 12 but could go as high as 2. Thats why i cited rodgers he could have went as high as 1 or 2, but didn't and then due to the lack of need at QB fell all the way to 24 where GB grabbed him to replace favre eventually. NO and SD could be looking to do the same with rivers/brees getting up there in age.
