Just saying that's the way it happened for them one way or another...now Dak and Dallas are both benefiting from it greatly.. They have a team built wher you can plug young players in at pretty much any offensive position and they will prosper with the the supporting cast, that's the kind of structure the jets need to build.
its all fun and games until dak has a sophomore slump this year and cant grow as a player as much as the fans and management want him to. which is exactly what i think you will see in dallas this year. it will be a much less fun year for them this year.
He looked pretty good last year. If they keep a semi-rookie bubble around him, like the Steelers did with Big Ben in year two, he should be fine - injuries being the exceptional case.
i hope so for their sake, i just have a gut feeling that he will come back down to earth a bit this year. and that would be catastrophic for the cowboys. which would actually be kind of fun to watch jerry jones lose his mind.
