This is happening.

 

Chris Mortensen reporting that Denver and Jets are discussing possible trade that would send Trevor Simien to Jets.....I don't want any part of Simien

 

Now the Cowboys are trading Romo. Am I crazy. Sheldon to the Cowboys, Romo to the Broncos and Simean to us. I could see that. Hopefully we get a pick too but I'd do this as long as we don't get Cutler.

 

Replace Simean with a pick and it sounds good to me.

 

Sheldon for Siemien? I mean it would save us a bunch on the cap and get rid of Richardson but I would much rather have McCarron as a prospect then Siemien.

 

At first I was kind of against this, but it does make sense for both teams. Cincy would have to look for a new backup for Dalton, but they would solve a big issue on their defense up front. I wouldn't mind giving AJ a 1 year audition for the job. I much prefer that over Siemien, that's for sure.

Apparently Cowboys just reported that they are now trading Romo instead of releasing him, according to Chris Mortensen. Whoever they trade him to is extremely stupid, as they already announced they were releasing him. They should have pretty much no leverage in a trade, so please please please don't let it be the Jets.

 

unbelievable....I would instead prefer to trade a sixth rounder for his wife.

 

I would prefer McCarron as well. Simien just doesn't impress me.

 

Now Mortensen is receiving some back pedaling on the deal between Jets and Broncos for Simien....this is a shit show

 

It's posturing, nothing more.

Chances are we're just driving down the price for Cutler even further. But maybe, just maybe, it's smoke and mirrors in a trade for Cousins.

 

I dont think Cousins wants to be here. He wants to head west. Jeez this is the silly season isnt it?

Let me just finish the statements made these last 48 hours.

really is telling that we have to trade for these QB's that we could have drafted.

 

TBH I was just hoping with an outside chance (not really thinking it would happen) that a deal for Cousins would materialize.

The further this goes I think there's a realistic chance of it happening. As I'm thinking this a guy on NFLN just made the same speculation of the Jets making a move for cousins and it wasn't really him spit balling different scenarios but was his most realistic shot of a trade... interesting

 

Well, if they do it that will be pretty great. Its rare that a team lets a QB that solid go free, but he is shooting himself out of Washington and the skins may not want to accomodate him by sending him to Shanahan.

 

With the mere mention of names like Cutler, Siemien and McCarron I'm starting to come around on sending the farm for Cousins.

You can only pay one QB real money and Dalton is that guy, at least for now.

Probably very little difference between them. They're both going to need a lot of help to win in the NFL.

 

If somehow Sheldon could be packaged towards a Cousins deal that would be amazing.

 

Denver was lobbying hard to sign Calais Campbell (DE) but they were just outbid by Jax. Probably now a Richardson trade in the works.

I don't know much about Siemen but I don't like trading with Denver they have fleeced us in the past

 

If Jay cutler is signed by the Jets, this is the only thing that will make it worth it.
