1) Giants 2) Mets 3)Rangers 4)Yankees 5) Islanders 6) Knicks 7) Jets 8) Nets I think the Giants have a good shot to win it next year as long as they shore up their oline and their defense remains dominant. Mets will be right there with their pitching Rangers are good but other teams are better Yankees are probably 2-3 years away Islanders are a mess, but they have a great franchise center and good young goalie Knicks are the Knicks, but they actually have a few good young players and draft picks. Jets are the Jets. 2009 and 2010 will be probably be the closest we get in a long time. Nets are a disaster and don't even have draft picks.
I see the Jets getting close in 2 yrs and winning it all in 3. In the mean time, the NY Giants implode and the Mets' pitching gets them to game 7.
Like the Devils both the Giants and Jets play in New Jersey (you do have the Buffalo Bills). The Statue of Liberty is ours too.
The Yankees have the best shot of winning a championship in the next few years. They have a top 5 farm system and after 2017 more money to spend than any other team.
The Jets are farthest away from winning anything. They have a horrible front office, an incompetent GM and HC, leadership that throws their peers under the bus, bad drafting, and a bad roster to boot. In other words, until all of these things change, they'll only continue to go in the wrong direction. As if coming off a 5-11 season wasn't already bad enough?
Great topic. I'd put the Mets over the Giants because of that starting pitching and Reed/Familia. With Blevins looking like he's coming back on a two year deal, middle relief looks good, too. The bats may/will be a problem, but we'll see. Have high hopes that hitting with RISP will be better this year. Man, I can't wait for Mets baseball. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
Well I think I've got about 15 - 20 years left in my life - after that is when the Jets will win it all.
I am 61 years old. I will not live long enough to see the Jets win another SB with the current ownership in place. Thank God I saw the first one!
The Nets are the worst team in basketball, have no young talent, and gave their picks to Boston. The only team that can compare to their ineptitude is Ted Stepien's Cavs.
