The new movie sets it up. I think the intent is to either A official wipe or establish gt. Im leaning towards the first option.

Just finished Attack on Titan season 1. I am love with this series. Season 2 coming this April after 3 years. I can't believe I had not seen this show yet. So much drama, emotion, and the soundtrack is the best for any anime ever.

I travelled to the States a couple of years ago and my friends there got me into Anime. Before then I had only watched stuff like Pokemon, DBZ, Zoids, which I don't really class on the same level as Anime, maybe because of watching the dubbed versions. Attack on Titan was the second subbed Anime I ever watched and got me hooked! What I struggle with is how long each new season takes to come out. Too used to a season a year format from normal TV shows.

Just finished Samurai Champloo and thought it was really solid. On to Cowboy Bebop now, since apparently it's the same person behind them.

I was obsessed with Robotech as a kid. Would wake up early to watch it, knew the release dates of the Comico comics, bought the art book, kept waiting for Robotech II The Sentinels and the movie when they were promoted in the comics, only to have my dreams crushed years later when I found out what happened to them.

Being a fan of Sci fi and westerns i have to watch Cowboy Bebop. As i have gotten older i enjoy shows that have a beginning and an end. I recommend you watch Death Note if you like psychological thrillers and tension. Another good one.
I also saw Full Metal Alchemist as a kid and overlooked alot of it...If you liked AOT then this one might be good too from emotion standpoint

I only watched one Robotech series as a kid. It was cool.

Then I got pubic hair. Girls looked pretty. I turned off the TV.

Then again, we didn't have the internet and video games were pretty stupid at the time.

Holy shit I am thankful, I could have turned out like one of these Pokemon eunuchs.

Can't get into it. Princess Robot Bumble Gum sums up my feelings when it comes to anime.

I did, but I wanted to see what they had in Wikipedia on it. As it turns out, they have a bunch of cartoon tits.

Better tits than the real live Japanese article in fact. I can see why this is so popular in Japan.

So did anybody end up watching the new Dragon ball series yet? I don't think it's in English yet, but I watched most of the original series in Japanese before English, the uncut was so much better.

Its in english now and on cartoon network every saturday at 8pm. 4 episodes in. I know the Japanese is somewhere in episode 70 but there are some unique circumstances where I prefer the dub over sub for me.

It takes places like a few years or months after Majin Buu saga

And Dragon Ball its all about the dub for me. I also started watching Cowboy Bebop in dubbing (many say its dubbing is great)

Future Trunks Saga is one of the best arcs in Dragon Ball history. They have it with English subtitles somewhere. It won't be on Cartoon Network for a while ... that Saga is like the 4th season of Dragon Ball Super. Long ways to go.
