AMC's The Walking Dead

Negan's got scrawny arms and toothpick legs. He looked a lot bulkier with his leather jacket on.

Rick couldn't find the gusto to rally the squad after Negan tried to make Rick cut off Carl's arm but when 2 inconsequential characters are killed he gets all fired up?

 

My wife says he has no ass.

 

That I have not looked at.

 

I was pumped when they announced Jeffrey Dean Morgan was going to be Negan, I think he is a hell of an actor.

Morgan/Negan owns the screen every time he is on. I have read reviews that think he is getting too much air time, but they go on to say that Negan the character makes them nervous and uncomfortable because he is such a wild card... Which to me makes it even a better portrayal of the character, because he is a wild card.

 

I agree but honestly, IMO I think he overplays the character. The constant smile and lean left lean right when he talks...just gets annoying after a while..same with Rick and his constant tilted head look away...so fukin annoying.

 

Think it starts up again this week right?

Outside of the first episode and a few portions of a couple others, not that high on this season so far. Walking Dead has become sort of notorious of having a slow beginning and packing a lot of solid episodes at the end.

Another reason why they need to tone down the amount of episodes per season.

 

First episode was badly written. The dialogue was painful.

 

It's like they are just phoning it in and then throwing a guy wire guillotine into the mix thinking it will appease everyone.

 

Ha, for a second I felt like I was watching Z Nation, except they would have made it funny.

 

Yep, I am waiting for the Z Nation/ Walking Dead crossover where this guy takes out Coral

 

That effect was probably my least favorite in the series so far.

 

When the spike zombie came out, my fiance (who only watches the show because I do) looked at me and said "OK, this show is getting pretty stupid."

I remained silent.

 

It was pretty asinine. I'm getting annoyed of the lack of action in this show. This is exactly why I rarely watched until recently.

 

a good show doesnt need constant action, it needs good story lines and good character development. and doesnt need corniness. i didnt have any issue with the spike guy, i think some people are just looking for things to complain about. ill complain about the fact htat they did a shit job with the background when rick was on top of the pile. it was quite obvious he was standing in front of a green curtain as he didnt fit in at all.

 

I usually don't catch stuff like that, but I did notice that too. It looked bad.

 

Good episode last night. Eugene is an underrated character.

 

he is, i think him being such a pansy makes him get overlooked but they definitely dove into him quite a bit last night. when he was put into a position to bullshit people and smiled like oh yeah this is what i do well. i am interested to see where his character goes from here. i am really not sure what lies ahead for him.
