Seriously though can our dumbass owner sell this team to someone with the tons of cash? i see you Steve Ballmer...Get in on the Jets too brother!
I love Pence, more than any politician on either side this past election cycle including the primaries. What is wrong with the Governor of Indiana, watching a game of a team from Indiana in the owner's box?
Hilary never lied about anything right? Stop watching CNN, you would look a whole lot smarter than you sound right now. Lets get back to football, or the lack of quality football. I have no idea how this mess is going to get fixed. Its scary
On the one hand, Woody is completely unqualified for an ambassadorial post...but it would probably force Woody to restructure the Jets with organization with the GM at the apex, so I'm in favor of it.
Hey, I despised Hillary too, I don't watch CNN, and no offense, but I don't really care how smart or dumb you think I am.
As many have alluded to, this could potentially take him far away from the football team and force him to hire an actual football mind to run the operations of the team. This could be a great thing for this franchise.
Are you guys just speculating him potentially selling the team or being less involved or is there anything concrete?
The problem is a personal problem. I dislike Pence for political/moral reasons I would rather not discuss (at least in this particular forum). I would rather not see his face next to the face of my favorite teams' owner's face in my favorite team's stadium.
The political stuff doesn't really belong in this thread so I won't comment on that but I will say that Woody being ambassador would preclude him from being in the U.S. and actually I believe I heard on Boomer and Carton that it would in essence require him to live in the UK. If that is the case he will either sell the team (highly doubtful) or hire a VP of Football Operations and actually let Macc be a GM with more power than the head coach. This isn't a bad thing honestly because it may actually allow the team to run without any owner input.
