Glenn Foley was our future? Wow. Just wow. Pennington has played fine this year. Pennington is much better than Foley ever was.
Accuracy > Arm Strength. Have you even watched any games ? Have you seen some of the throws the Chad Bomber has made this year? He has put passes in places where there were no plays to be made yet somehow they get made.
Browning Nagle had a great arm. Couldn't he throw a ball through the uprights from midfield on his knees? TBTF
Peyton chokes in the playoffs, Brady is sucking it, Culpepper/Harrington both blow, Losman is a tart, Eli is nothing without Barber carrying the team, Big Ben is already a has-been, Palmer and Grossman put up stinkers from time to time, Vick is a RB, and all the other QBs I failed to mention probably suck too. Every QB has some issues one way or another. Realistically, there are probably only a handful of QBs that can actually be considered "great". The Jets can do far worse than starting Pennington.
Chad can make most of the deep throws better than most QBs. His throws 40 yards and under are more accurate than most QB's. If you watched the game Coles should have caught that one pass and he made a great throw to Cotchery
This is retarded. Pennington made a game clinching TD pass which was placed perfectly for Cotchery to make a play on it and you are complaining about his arm strength? Pennington is going to finish the second half of the season stronger than he did the first.
Most of these guys dissing Chad are the same ones that will tell you the organization had been held back by Curtis Martin all these years, and that unless he's ripping off 30-50 yard runs every 4 plays that he was a washed up loser. Basically, unless Chad has 300 yard games and beams the ball across the field 90+ mph, then he has no business putting on a helmet and shoulder pads. I can listen to a couple of the arguments out there simply because they are pretty intelligent people having a pretty intelligent conversation, but then you get the mass of crack-heads like this weiner in here trying to sell us a bridge in the desert.
