I don't know about 4-4, but I could see us getting to 5-5 at the bye week. @Ari Bal @Cle @Mia LA Bye week That seems doable IF the team/coach staff can pull it together a bit. Of course, then after the bye NE comes to MetLife for a Sunday night game. I don't see that going well at all.
He hasn't practiced since the injury, but my guess is they're holding him out so Hack can get the scout team reps. It was supposedly only a 2 week injury.
.500, sorry but this team is going to end up 4-12, this team can't put a half together, they don't score TDs in the redzone, they are poorly coached, they have a QB who just swindled the GM out of 12 million dollars. I really don't see this team taking it to the next level without changes being made at some key positions, and I honestly think those changes are not going to be made this year.
Isn't Arizonas defense better now than they were with Todd Bowles as their DC? Unless Arizona really collapses in every phase of their game they should beat the jets. I don't think Rodgers will have the defensive strategy correct for them to shut down Larry. I also don't think Fitz should test their top CB who I think is Peterson. He will have 4 ints if that man is covering Marshall.
if they can lose to Case Keenum & Tyrod Taylor they can lose to Fitzpatrick. They aren't that good. The jets aren't good either obviously so Arizona could certainly win but I don't like all the talk like the Jets are up against Goliath here. This is the easiest game we've had since the 3 game losing streak started
yea..but the Cards D is just as good as any of the 3 we've played....and our D has lost its way.... this has blow out written all over it.
Goliath they are not, and their offense has sputtered this year, Palmer has looked every bit of 36 years old, actually looking like Fitz in a Cardinals uniform, they have had some problems with the oline as well. I hope they make enough mistakes that allow the jets to keep the game close, my concern is the lack of TDs in the RZ by the jets. No way they can go into Arizona and start putting up FGs against their defense. The Rams and Bills defenses were good enough to keep the cards at bay, hopefully the jets defense can do the same, but the way that the jets scondary has played, and it's a road game, I can see the jets once again losing a close game.
If the Bills could manhandle the Cards, the Jets should do alright. If the Jets somehow manage to get to 3-4, I will be very impressed. 4-4 I would be ecstatic. The Jets have been a streaky team the last year and change. Hopefully that streak will start back up in the right direction. I'm not really counting on it though. To me a loss to Arizona = tank for #1 overall pick.
I like the spirit of this thread and think it's actually pretty rational to have this outlook. My main reservation is not that we are 1-4, it's how bad we have looked. We have lost three straight games by double digits and two of those games by at least three scores (and honestly, if not for a fluke TD on a fumble recovery, the Seattle game likely ends at 27-10). I have seen nothing to suggest that we aren't a bottom 5 team in this league. In other words, when Cleveland fans see us at home, they will likely be thinking that is their best chance for their first win of the season.
Last year was an all-time soft schedule. It was the epitome of "made to order." I wrote it at the time, but that Bills loss will go down as one of the worst losses in our franchise's regular season history. We were hot and had everything to play for. I will never get over the fact that we blew the heavenly gift that was our schedule. It infuriates me to this day. The unique combination of a pro-bowl caliber season from a career journeyman quarterback and the softest schedule imaginable may not come around for another 50 years.
Does TB have any ties to Zona, I mean he should know some of their personal and he should want to beat them as he was a coach there so there should be some added incentive ,no ? My fear is they won't get up for this game or can't get up for this game as the coaches and team are not very good,,,am I wrong ? We will know for sure in 6 days
Exactly....if the lowly Bills can trash the All Mighty Cards just after getting crushed by the Jets, then ya, it should be a good game.
only thing is the lowly Bills also played well against the Pats,,,,,our guys have looked real bad and given me zero reason for optimism
To be fair, most teams would look terrible against the steelers and seahawks. The bills play the patriots again in two weeks, let's see if they shut them out this time...
Mario most team might lose to the Steelers and Seahawks but we have taken "looking bad " to new heights especially with the HC doing his best Kotite impersonations.Im more concerned with if the Jets can manage a second win Monday nite
