Now that we've all expressed our self hate and cut ourselves after the Jets fell to 1-4, let's try another angle. The outlook is not good, but the season is not over. I fully realize and accept that there's no good reason to expect us to rip off a win streak. The Jets don't look good and have issues across the board, but this type of thing happens pretty frequently in the NFL. Teams struggle early then pull it together and fight for the playoffs. The goal at this point should be to get back to .500. If we can get to 4-4, the outlook is pretty, pretty good compared to the shit hole we're looking through today. Yea I got my pom poms on. Let's go Jets. Beat the Cards.
Here's something really strange I just noticed. We're as many games behind the 2nd wild card spot now as we were entering Sunday (2). Mulligan?
If we go into Zona on monday and beat them convincingly I will have some faith that this team can pull out wins against the ravens and the browns. That being said I would be shocked if we don't give up 2 40+ yard tds to palmer and john brown. Plus Arians should know Bowles inside and out, doesn't look good fellas.
They can beat Arizona but its going to be really hard to beat Baltimore on a short week and a cross country travel back home. The schedule makers did the Jets no favors this year.
This team/secondary alone has shown me nothing through four weeks that can prove their worth of getting back to .500.
We were 1-4 in 2002 and came back to get in the playoffs. An old grizzled vet got hurt and was replaced by a kid who was sitting on the bench for 2 years waiting his turn.
I wish I could be positive but we're ranked 32nd against the pass and about to face Larry Fitzgerald, John Brown, and David Johnson. We done
Hopefully Chandler Jones will take Old Yeller out back, Geno's helmet magically goes missing and Petty comes in, proceeds to throw a TD on his first throw. One can hope right?
Do the cards have a TE? Assuming they have one, I'm sure he will have several big catches and probably a TD!
