I've seen enough through 25 games that Bowles has coached to know he will not last for us. He is unqualified and simply garbage at being a head coach. Poor clock management, poor situational football, shitty challenges, horrible time out usage, no half time adjustments. He is as bad of an HC as Idzik was a GM. Simply put, get rid of him at years end and hire Kyle Shanahan. We need to shake things up.
Funny thing...this has been the exact same thing we've been saying since Herm about Every Single HC Hired!!
There were things we all didnt like last season but we just kinda ignored it because we were winning. Now that the team is losing, its becoming more obvious and harder to ignore. Sent from my SM-N930V using Tapatalk
who is the great head coach that is going to restore this organization great reputation. which retired, deceased, or current coach at a successful team should Woody write a blank check to?
when the season is over, we'll see who gets canned. Then we pick wisely. If Harbaugh decides he wants to come back to the NFL? He gets the blank check. Todd Haley or any other offensive minded HC/OC should be at the top of the list. First timers need not apply. New York is no place for someone to learn how to be an HC. You need to know what you're doing when you get here or don't apply for the job.
Did anyone go back and look to see if there really were 12 men on the field like Bowles said when he called the timeout with the clock stopped?
There you have it folks! Sheldon Richardson just said in more or less words that some guys (most) aren't trying their hardest. We're not stupid we can see the loafers on this team.
Well done guys are just limited. But yeah done guys are complacent. Heard the defense isn't happy. Sent from my SM-N930V using Tapatalk
Doesn't matter, we know who it isn't and you just keep hiring and firing them until you get the right guy.
The problem with this organization (and this extends to the current admin.) is that it fails to recognize the value of offensive football. Year after year they draft for defense while all the offensive playmakers go to other teams. Offense starts with the QB. Anyone who can't understand that, today's game was a great example. You had one of the top playmaking QBs in the game versus a mediocre (at best) QB. At the start of this game you had an offense struggling to get within FG range, while on the other side they immediately retake the lead with a long TD strike. It almost seemed as if Roethlisberger had a day off he was at such ease in the pocket. I thought the defense played fairly well today with the exception of that first TD. You can't expect a defense to continually shut down a potent opponent when the offense consistently pisses away scoring opportunities.
Jumping off sides on third and short. Blown assignments. No one ever, ever covering a back out of the backfield. Things that we, as Jets fans have become accustomed too. Things that we never adjust to. Nothing ever changes. Ever.
This is so bad. Might be worth giving Peyton a call -- coaching the Jets can't be worse than those Papa John's commercials.
