The Browns' rookie QB Kessler actually was playing very well today. He was done in by 2 fumbles by RBs in Washington territory. The Browns should have won that game.
Sad part is he should be the face of our franchise he exemplifies the standard of a Jet QB ... mediocre at its best ...

It's more than two games. Have you forgotten the last game of last season vs Buffalo? Have you forgotten Fitz' history? It's WHO HE IS. For the Jets to keep starting him and thinking that he gives them the best chance to win, is nothing short of insanity imo.
Fact of the matter is we don't have a legitimate back-up. So, we're stuck with Fitzpatrick for the foreseeable future.
Unfortunately we have Fitz who sucks. One of the biggest mantras of the Fitz girls was he never had talent and could win if he had it. At least Geno managed 8 wins with an abysmal cast in 2013. Fitz has never had a team that bad and has struggled to win 8 games with better teams. Geno has done more with less in his career than Fitz.
The only problem with that is if you do that you basically have to run the gamut for a playoff spot. I really think the problem lies between coaching and lack of the run game. What Fitz has done is pretty typical for him given the circumstances which to me suggests other problems.
Has nothing to do with my agenda. Every rationalization used by you Fitz girls actually supports playing Geno.
Have you forgotten the five games before the last Buffalo game? And if you want to talk about history, Geno's history is worse. If we fall out of contention play Petty which could actually accomplish something beyond making an angry statement.
I don't think they're making the playoffs if the Jets could suddenly bring back Joe Willie in his prime. I don't think Fitz is the only problem by any means, but he not helping things with the way he's playing. The secondary has sucked. Bowles' schemes aren't working and I've seen little or no adjustments during games. The team doesn't seem prepared to play half the time. Gailey's play calling and game plans have been questionable at best. Perhaps Mac is a part of the problem. I had thought that we had at least found a quality GM and had more hope for this team than I have ever had as an adult. If he turns out to be a big part of the problem, I'm really gonna be depressed.
Geno's history is worse with no offensive talent around him, an incompetent OC and HC and playing before he was ready. We don't know what he would do now that there would be some talent around him and at least a competent OC. The only game action he's seen with this regime was vs Oakland last season and he played pretty well.
Mornhinweg was seen as a good OC before he came here. And for all the love Rex is getting on this board now you'd think he's a great coach too. Geno was okay against Oakland, better than Fitz the last two weeks but not the first two. Not enough to make me want to see more.
Sorry, he threw two bad ones, if not more. The one to Anderson was way hi. But will admit the secondary sucks....and our defensive coordinator should be the first to go.
With all due respect geno has played this poorly and you just listed all the things that GENO does .... case closed. but he can throw the long ball right?
Fuck last year look at this year. Fitz fucking sucks. We need to bench him now. If they want to bring Petty in i'm fine with that. 9 fucking picks in 2 games. Geno never done that bad.
