Don't know if I'd call him a bust but he's very inconsistent.

He played good last year, and looked like he was going to make the leap this year.

    But no, he sucks.

He was awesome last year but he's been pretty bad this year. So many busted coverages by him, although he still flies around.

We should be playing a defense similar to Seattles with this personnel. Big hitting safety? Check. Good free safety that doesn't let balls over his head? Check. Savy veteran corner to man the short side of the field? Check. This fifteen yards off receivers shit is testing my patience with supporting Bowles.

The issue here is everyone in the secondary is playing out of sync and not to their strengths.
When was a last time a receiver was jammed at the line of scrimmage. With someone like Pryor you need to pay him up at the the line of scrimmage and avoid having him have single coverage. Last year they did this this yr the whole secondary is sucks. It is hard to blame it on the players when you see what is happening

They stated doing it late in the game notice how they deep passes slowed? But you're correct, they're out of sync.

He ain't going to get better. Pryor is already fractured and lost.
Sad thing is, he looks like he is genuinely trying to make plays but damn, just shit performance.
Another jets first rounder that can't start.
    Next!

    Pryor is hot garbage.
    big reason we lost today.

I also blame Bowles for not making adjustments, and for not benching Pryor.
it's past time to give Allen a shot.

Yes i did but by then everyone is put of rythm. They need to start jamming at the line of scrimmage early to disrupt the other teams timing

I don't know what the hell has happened to our secondary this offseason.

With this many busted coverages I have trouble assigning the blame to a single player.

If it was one single player t would be the player at this point I blame the secondary coach and coordinator

Pryor has to be the biggest disappointment of the season so far. Just awful. I truly thought he could be a Pro Bowler this year.

Pryor is good for a hit/tackle. Can't defend a lick.

He would be a force in the Polamalu/Sean Taylor era a few years ago.

Dude has clearly regressed. He doesn't intimidate anyone. He can't cover. This secondary needs bigger guys who can wrap up, cover, and intimidate. Pryor, Gilchrist, Skrine, Williams, and an old Revis aren't scaring anyone.

Pryor is fat, and like I said doesn't know how to hit properly. He has no value, next Roy Williams ( the old Cowboys safety).
