Resigning Fitzpatrick was a major mistake

Passing defense ranks one of the worst in the league. We give up big plays and too many easy and long short passes...Offense is really sporadic. It starts with Fitz. You cannot give up an int when moving down past midfield and down 7. Enough with Fitz. Lets see what Geno and Petty can do...

 

Fitz needs a TE safety option, and we are fresh out.

 

As any NFL follower that has half a brain will attest, a team will only go as far as where their QB and coaching will take them. These are the cold hard facts. Fitz is the 'what you see is what you get' anomaly. Against decent defenses, he is completely lost and, compiling that with a CS that can't make the correct adjustments during the game to counter the opponents strategy, well, what can one expect?

 

Fuck. It doesn't even matter if we establish a running game. They know he's going make bad throws it's just a matter of when. The secondary is bad but Fitz takes the cake.

 

Bring Petty in and start him.

Russel WIlson is a real NFL QB and Fitz is a real backup....that's the main difference in this game

You need to score points to win in the NFL.....can't expect to hold good teams to 10 points and under

 

With our receiving corp and Forte we should be dangerous, but Fitzbeard tho

 

Its not just that Fitzpatrick is throwing picks like crazy, its how hes throwing them. Just plain bad throws and terrible reads. Its not like hes pushing the ball down the field and getting picked, its throwing into triple coverage.

Fitzpatrick is the worst starting QB in the NFL. Imagine if he had the WR's Geno and Mark had a few years ago. I mean damn he's this miserably terrible with Marshall/Decker/Enunwa/Forte etc... think about Kerley/Hill/Nelson/etc.

Fitzpatrick's whole career or Fitzpatrick for a crazy stretch against a bunch of shit teams last season hmmm wonder who the real Ftzpatrick is??

 

He has two good runners that were poorly utilized which is one reason why they performed poorly.

Marshall and Decker have been playing at the Kerley/Hill level so far this season

 

I'm not really excusing him, however if they keep playing him then at least run the offense in a fashion that works with him. That falls on coaching.
