Didn't see the game, but hear Jimmy Garoppolo was pitching a perfect game when he got creamed and injured his right shoulder....he's currently at the hospital for evaluation. NE's on a short week, they play the Texans Thursday night. What options do they have at QB? Who's out there? Kind of glad Sanchez is off the market! Anyway, this is good news for the Jets, plus Bills and Fish are both 0-2.

Yea, Jimmy Garoppolo looked really good. Either that or Miami just has an awful secondary but nonetheless Garoppolo was in the midst of putting up big time numbers before the injury.

N.E's offense immediately began to struggle with Brissett as a rookie under Center although I won't get my hopes up about N.E playing Houston on a short week with potentially a raw rookie QB. Just our luck he'll look like the next coming of Joe Montana.

I was certain Arizona would take care of N.E without both Brady & Gronkowski so I won't get my hopes up anymore, although it'll be nice for them to lose before Brady returns.

I had no doubt in my mind Jimmie G was a legit NFL QB that Idzik let walk right to NE

Now that hes out Bellicheater will have a harder job with their #3 whoever that is...

    Awwww..too bad

As long as JG out of action winning the Division is within reach

N.E's 2-0 so they can absorb losing Garoppolo until Brady returns come week 5.

In a perfect world Houston dominates N.E & Rex Ryan treats the Patriots with a rookie QB as Buffalo's annual Super Bowl.

New England being 4-0 or even 3-1 would be a big disappoint once Brady returns.

I'm sure they'll sign some dickless scrub off the street and he'll come in and pass for 400 yards and 4 TD's per game.

Jimmy G is a legit NFL QB. Brisket is not, they're in trouble if he needs to start.

Maybe we can offer to trade Geno to the Pats for their 1st round pick next year! ;) LOL

Broncos retain his rights. I doubt they'd let him sign with NE. The idea seems silly anyway.

The latest from NE is JG may be able to play week 4. Rapelisberger played 7 days after a similar injury last year.

Brissett played ok. The Pats went pretty conservative and he threw the ball well when asked to. His only bad play was the fumble on a sack.

Karma's finally coming back to the Patriots. They had a whole year to get ready for Brady being out, it would have annoyed me if they started 4-0. Without JG, I don't see them having success the next 2 games, but who knows.

Never bet against the pats it wouldn't shock me if they go 4-0 without brady and gronk the first 4 games of the year.

I honestly see the houston game going down to the wire and rex embarrassing himself again the next week.

Who knows, but betting against the Pats is just something I won't do. Houston is 2-0, but there was plenty about their win over Kansas City to raise doubts about how legitimate that is (Osweiler's two INTs, Houston recovering three fumbles [which is not likely to happen again]). And we all know that Buffalo has looked bad through two weeks. 3-1 or 4-0 for the Pats doesn't seem unreasonable to me at all.

I only saw bits and pieces of the Texans game, but Osweiler's body language seems to suggest he's kind of an asshole. Coming off the field rolling his eyes and waving away the OC...

    He could be another Tannehill

Patriots are like 2.5-3 point underdogs with Jacoby Brissett lol. Everyone and their brother says not to bet against the Patriots at home but sorry guys I'm betting against Brissett lol.

Jimmy G looked great but do you guys remember Matt Flynn who looked great filling in for Rodgers, cashed in on a bunch of contracts, but in the end turned out to be shit? Not saying JG is going down the same road but it's way too early.
