I wish your GM and coach would have just ripped off this 12 million dollar band aid and move on because when Fitz is given the reigns to an offense from the beginning, he never does well. There is absolutely no way that you will win more than 8 games this season with Fitz starting all 16. Such a shame with your 2 receivers and that defense because both are tops in the league. Sad thing is that if Fitz does manage to win 8 games, that'll probably be good enough to get him signed on for another 2-3 years. As a Bills fan I love it, however having suffered with this loser for 5 years myself I empathize with you. Oh well, have fun this season! Go Bills!!

Fitzpatrick wasn't with Buffalo for "5 years". Try 4 seasons; not "5". Instead of harping all over Fitzpatrick... shouldn't you harp all over your own front office? When's the last time you've even made the playoffs? Using Fitz as your scapegoat of "empathy" is kind of cheap, don't ya think? I mean, let's be honest with yourself here, 1996 was Jim Kelly's final season of NFL play & your Bills have been scrambling for a quarterback ever since (trust me, Fitzpatrick hasn't been "Buffalo's only failure)". Hasn't it been 16 years since Buffalo last made a postseason appearance? 16 years? Really? 16 miserable years? Didn't you all lose 4 consecutive Super Bowls? Back to back to back to back SB defeats? But yet, here you are, talking about Fitzpatrick as your empathy? Sad. I love when people pretend that Bills team had an elite receiver, a 1000-yard second WR and one of the better pass-catching RBs in recent history out of the backfield. Bottom line, trying to draw conclusions based off the Bills run is stupid.

Heading into last year didn't he predict Fitzpatrick to have us as an awful red zone offense? We actually ended up having one of the most efficient red-zone offensive attacks.
