Bernie's "political revolution" has just endorsed the most corrupt establishment candidate possible. Way to stick to your guns old man.

Bernie's no fool. He and his "movement" gain nothing by going all Nader and guaranteeing Trump the election. Better to be inside the tent peeing out, than dousing it with gasoline and lighting it on fire. Or something along those lines.

Couldn't she just trot out the same "I didn't think I was at the time" defense?

The logical inconsistencies in the notion that Hillary was Secretary of State and didn't receive any classified e-mails via her private e-mail server are too strong to survive any real analysis of the situation.

If they actually have her saying under oath that no classified e-mails passed through her server, well that's going to be perjury if the case is pursued.

However, you could have said the same thing about Bill and his liaison with the intern. He got off the hook basically because the American public said "so what? you were tasked with proving he had broken laws, not with creating situations where he would break the law in a perjury trap." That's where Ken Starr went off the rails. He was there to investigate Whitewater and he wound up prosecuting the aftermath of a blowjob, a detail the American people not only didn't care about but really didn't want to know about.

Bernie would burn it all down if he thought it would stay burnt. He knows it won't so he came inside for now.

If Hillary doesn't make him the VP she's playing with fire given everything else going on around her at the moment. There was a day in American politics when the the Presidential and Vice-Presidential candidates generally didn't like each other because they came from opposite wings of their party and were designed to draw the party together after a fractious backroom nomination. That's where the Democrats need to be this year, particularly with the big loser not really being a Democrat but speaking for millions of Democrat and potential Democrat voters anyway.

The obvious tickets that were not happy campers were JFK and LBJ and Reagan and H.W. and both of them got the VP elected at least once.

This "happy-happy" crap is for something other than the trench warfare that is American politics at the moment. You need people that disagree in some areas on the same ticket because otherwise you're going to wind up with a smaller vote total than optimal to get to the White House.

he's too damn old to be the running mate.

this is what we could very well be looking at in November: Clinton (69) & Sanders (75) VS. Trump (70) & Gingrich (73) ....

I've seen younger tickets running for the boards of retirement communities

Yeah, and the American people overwhelmingly wanted the matter dealt with in some other way. 62% of the people polled at the time of the impeachment wanted their rep in the house to vote no on impeachment. They wanted a censure not an impeachment because they felt the impeachment was politically motivated instead of actually representing something that required the President removed from office.

The problem with older politicians as veeps is that they tend to be very set in a political mindset of the past generation. Bernie is instead set in a political mindset that will appeal to younger voters and get them to turn out.

We're hearing a lot about the Clinton scandals. Out of curiosity, when will the Trump scandals start coming out? After the GOP convention maybe? The best we've gotten so far is Trump University, but there have got to be others. Yeah, I'm just speculating and I could be wrong. But can anyone here say with a straight face that Trump is clean? :)

Man, it's going to be funny to see all the conservatives pissed when Hillary wins. But that's what happens when only one party nominates a semi-valid choice.

Yes, and the fun being tempered by the realization of who was just elected.

A fact that Trump supporters seem to ignore that he echoed. You can dig up what he had to say about it in one of his books. Now I'm paraphrasing but it was something along the lines of "so what" . Now of course he wants people to forget all about that so he's slamming Bill for his indiscretions.

Oh man.... any time you go on Facebook and you see these delusional people that make comments like he isn't the least popular candidate ever.

I always find the posts where you see a picture of Trump as a centaur standing on the edge of the George Washington boat crossing the Delaware shitting a bald eagle out of his ass tearing up the Mexican flag while holding a Winchester model 70 in his mouth to be the best.

One thing is for sure, we have absolutely the worst two candidates in the history of presidential elections running but thanks to social media the stupidity of Americans is on full display so at least the death of our nation is going to be entertaining.

I'm thinking it's a 50/50 election at this point. Hillary took a major hit with Comey's non-indictment indictment.

She's a bad campaigner and she doesn't have much time to rebound and attitudes about her and her opponent are set in stone at this point.

If Trump wins he's going to destroy American Conservatism.

So sad and so very true. No one wins regardless of who is elected, dark times for American politics.
