First, why do you have to be such a Debbie Downer? Maybe you like logging into TGG and seeing the exact same 3 threads for the past month with NOTHING new. A post draft, post FA power ranking is kind of fun. It gives us another topic to talk about and lets us think about the other 31 teams. Smile damit!!!

Lol. I see your point but I don't like Power rankings. Offseason or during the season.

Most things on here are "opinions" but some think everything they say is fact.

Is that with Geno or Fitz starting QB? Looks like Geno. With Fitz I move us up somewhere between Colts and Jags. That's if Bowles can come up with a defense to beat the likes of Raiders Texans and Bills.

and don't forget we beat the Patriots last year in week 16 when they were battling HARD for the top seed, which they didn't get because of their loss to the Jets. That doesn't mean we're better than them in general, but it does mean we're close enough to them to beat them at least once when it really counted.

Playoffs were on the line every week for the last 5-6 weeks of the season. Fitz and Jets were good enough for all but one of those weeks.

Fitz was one of the main reasons we were in contention for the playoffs.

He played one crap game down the stretch and that just happened to coincide with the worst overall team performance of the season with no Powell and no Ivory. Actually it was one REALLY crap throw.

Was not Fitz' fault but you can't account for idiots repeating over and over and over and over again that he was the sole reason we didn't make the playoffs.

That last game was as much on Bowles who had no answer for Sammy, other than Revis, who had no answer for Sammy. And don't forget our awesome punting that very cold, wet, windy day. I may be the only person talking that was actually there. Horrible day for football, so neither team was going to look great no matter what.

I'll blame fitz for his one 4th qtr int when we were in FG range to take the lead. That was the exact type of pass/play that Decker/Marshall bailed him out on all season long, but not that time.

And as bad as we played, if Enunwa held onto that sideline pass at the end he sails into the EZ for a walk-off grand slam.

This is not the game to hold up as an example of how good/bad we were last season. The previous week against NE with Decker's walk off TD and jumping into the stands is far more representative.

I've said it a million times--we get even competent HS level punting and we're in the playoffs easily. But let's blame Fitz.

Absolutely--that was a AWFUL pass at the worst time. All the blame goes to Fitz on that throw.

That's not quite an accurate description--Fitz hit that pass a BUNCH of times--on the money between defenders--especially to Decker. To be sure, Marshall bailed him a few times but Fitz had his share.

The idiots forget this little nugget. He catches that easy pass and we win that game.

The same idiots putting the entire blame on Fitz for missing the playoffs are forgetting this:
