Tell that to the HC. If he signs he's the starter. Hopefully Geno gets to prove himself somewhere else
To be honest I don't think Bowles wants him back. He said they don't need him until TC. What coach would say that? Plus I don't really think Mac wants him back either. I think his offer shows that and not to budge on his offer also shows that.
Did we sign him yet? Hurry up just give them a 7th, some gummy bears, and a lifetime supply of Johnson and Johnson baby powder.
Really? So he's low balling Fitz and he knows Fitz won't sign the offer? He's offering him some good money. What, that's for show?
To be honest IMO I think Mac offering him to much money. Few things I don't like about Fitz is his weak arm his decision making and he chokes in the big games.
That has nothing to do with Mac's actions indicating he doesn't want him back like you said. He wants him back, to start, hence the hefty offer.
I think Fitz will disagree that it a "hefty offer". To be honest if he does sign I don't look for him to last all year. He will end up hurt. Not hoping he would I would never wish a injury on anybody.
I hope he stays out until TC if he signs. Give the younger QB more snaps. Hell one may show something and we tell Fitz thanks for your one year but we don't want you.
Macc doesn't want to give up anything for Foles. And Bowles means it when he doesn't need Fitz till training camp. It's a great way to get the other QBs more reps. Anx it will be the last time to see if Geno can do anything positive.
Drafting Hack just made signing Fitz all the more important . He's the kind of veteran presence you want around a young raw talent. Resigning Fitz isn't a matter of if its a matter of when.
he is definitely a better option then fitz. younger, cheaper, better arm and has had a great season with talent around them. fitz has none of those things going for him. also, even if you discount the dropped ints, which is fine, fits still had the 5th most ints in the league. he did not have a good season last year.
