Why did he go in the 7th round? I've seen people have him go day 2. Lots of places have him in their top 10 receivers. This feels like a steal to me.
Great value in the 7th. This guy has great hands and 4.4 speed. Most draft publications had him going much higher. He could take Enuwa place right now.
Hah fair point but we got away with it so no harm no foul It's hard to have an issue with any 7th round pick really.
Not sure about that, at least not in the role QE settled into. QE was 15 lbs heavier when drafted and has had 2 years in an NFL weight program. Plus he ran a 4.45 at the combine so he's fast for his size. I have high hopes for his 3rd season. I love the Peake selection in the 7th. He has a chance to grow into a very good NFL WR.
He had an injury history and because of Sammy Watkins, etc. he didn't get to shine until his final year. This was the steal of the draft.
It all depends on who is pitching the pill as we saw last year. If fitz could have ever reached him maybe devin smith would have been good last year too.
Fast indeed but not that good of hands. His hands are small for his size and he had one of the highest drop rates on the team. But regardless, it appears to be a great pick.
Hadn't heard that name in forever, wow. My Dad and Grandfather were CU alums so I was attending games at Death Valley since the womb. Hoping Peake can stay healthy and be more productive as a Jet than he was as a Tiger. Love that we snagged a guy with so much potential this late. And probs to @James Hasty who picked Peake for the Jets in the board mock if I'm not mistaken. Called it!
Great pick...hate Clemson but watch them a ton and this kid can play Hasn't reached his potential yet but if we took him in the 4th or 5th I don't think anyone would have called it a big reach...nice value here
Totally unlisted throwaway pick. Slim chance of making it through camp. ...there are always prospects with 3rd/4th round grades who go undrafted, and there are a couple LBs like that available right now. Seriously, sometimes I think GMs would be better off in the late rounds just going by the draft mags, really seems like they just forget about guys!
S Tyvis Powell, Ohio State, 3rd round grade (PFW)....shockingly went undrafted LB Eric Striker, Oklahoma, 3rd rd. grade, undrafted LB Terrance Smith, Florida St., 3rd-4th rd. grade, undrafted ...from a quick look at the best UDFA list, I'm sure there are more. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...fted-free-agents-following-the-2016-nfl-draft If they wanted a WR: Jalin Marshall, Ohio St., 2nd-3rd Rd. grade!, undrafted OT Avery Young, Auburn, 2nd round grade! HUH, what happened with him, was he abducted by aliens?!
