I hate that Mac made what looks to be a totally reactionary pick.

Oh my god we don't have a QB lets draft one!

Hey this guy has a name, let's grab him.

Such a waste of a pick.

I guess that's why there are so many posts here. You don't like him but speak of him as a franchise QB with undeniable talent. That makes sense, right?

Guys, I've been watching some Hackenberg tape and I think I finally understand the pick...

Browning Nagle is a pretty good comparison at least from a Jets' fans perspective.

Yes, but do any of those players have the talent and potential impact that Hack does if he develops? No. What happened to saying that you were just guessing at QB, and that if Mac picked Hack that you'd give him the benefit of the doubt and hope that he was right?

BS. I guess Tom Brady isn't a franchise QB.

I don't like Robert Nkemdiche and Jeremy Tunsil. I also don't like the Darron Lee pick; that doesn't mean they are not talented. I can't help you understand this one any further; you'll have to get there on your own.

All these dickheads calling the pick terrible and putting Mac on the hotseat.

How about we hold one training camp practice before all the tgg experts make proclamations.

Or better yet why don't we let hackenbergs agent get in touch w the front office to talk about a contract first.

No. Apparently you can't. You hate the guy but defend the pick. Carry on.

If Hackenberg starts, and we lose to Detroit, the N.Y Post will have the easy " Christian Fed To The Lions" headline teed up.

I've seen no one acting that way. What I have seen is you and a few others acting like irrational, raving lunatics and assholes and like you know more than he does about the prospects, and that's just laughable.

We're calmly, rationally choosing to give him the benefit of the doubt. In other threads and on other issues, we have questioned some of his moves, and some have panned some of those moves. He's done a good enough job that we think he deserves the benefit of the doubt. If these picks don't work out, we take note and will grow increasingly skeptical about him, or turn against him, depending upon how strongly we disagree with these and other moves.

    Grow up.

How can you make this statement without a single down having been played.

And yet somehow we won more games than both of them combined last season.

The guy has done nothing to me personally or my family so no I don't hate the guy. He's not on my list of QBs I would have drafted this year so I dislike the pick. Is that OK?

1 in a million pick. Why act like every draft produces a stud 2nd-4th round QB?
