Nah, you don't use a second round pick (a very valuable asset) on a project QB if you already have a project that you believe in and are truly committed to working on. I could be wrong, but I don't think they envision Petty as ever being their guy. And, honestly, it's not shocking, he was a 4th round pick, after all.
