Franchise QB? That is a huuuuuggggggggeeeeee stretch. His potential reached its apex after his freshman year. Since then its been down, down, down, His accuracy problems alone should have him carrying a clipboard for the rest of his career.

I say if you think a guy could be a franchise QB you take him and do what you can to develop him. So let's see how this goes.

JETS get there future QB. I'm super excited our GM picked Hackenberg over that overrated 34-5 Cook.

Macc said he believed in Casserly's dictum that you draft, "a QB every year" till you find one. He's just following it too its logical conclusion. Fitz isn't going to get us to the playoffs with this schedule. Macc's just playing the hand he's dealt.

This.... I have hated 2 picks , I've disliked a lot but absolutely hated and I nailed both of them. They were Kyle Brady and Geno Smith and this pick blew both of them away with amount of hate I have for this pick. Hackenshit is fucking awful and that's an understatement. Happy feet, misses wide open throws, makes bad decisions, can't move and just flat out sucks. He has a big arm and that's it. Congratulations we just drafted Browning Nagle v2. I fucking exploded. I cannot believe how fucking stupid this organization is year after fucking year. Fuck Mac and his shitty project QB picks. Unreal... O line, nope, CB, nope, OLB, nope let's waste a pick on a project QB yet again.

Yeah the whole team was bad. You can have Tom Brady throwing but if recievers dont catch, line dont block, or coaches cant coach nothing is gonna work period.

I liked the Pozingas pick right away. He was the guy I wanted and was glad the Knick pulled the trigger. He didn't disappoint either.

id be fine taking hackenberg in the 4th or 6th round... or another qb at those same spots. no need to take one in round 2.

I don't like the pick one bit but I like Smith less and I'de rather see Fitzpatrick retire then play for the Jets again with his greed factor..so what the hell but I wish it was Lynch.

its hard to catch when ball is throw 20 yards over your head. the guy was horrifically inaccurate. he was part of the problem, not the solution

Did you join Robinson in drinking summer shandy tonight with the temperature in the forties? Better break out a decent scotch and mellow out.

Hackenberg was predicted to go in the 2nd. Macc wasn't taking that chance.
