Im sure this kid has heard the "too small" label his whole life..all its gotten him is to Ohio State and an NFL 1st rounder.

Dont worry about size. Plenty freaks of nature bomb at the NFL level.

Jack isn't a Blair Thomas situation where every team in the league but the Jets knew the kid couldn't play. Jack will be better than Lee 3 years from now. I'll buy you your fav drink if I'm wrong.

I agree Mac lost some cool points. Maybe his executive of the year award went to his head. Just not a fit not a need.

yes, ive had tons of confidence in mac. i wasnt super high on forte until i saw the contract, but thats mostly because i felt we needed to get younger not older. i loved that brick moved on an we asked him to take a pay cut. like the move for clady. loved the williams and mauldin picks last year. love that we havent caved to fitz.

this is a head scratcher pick. love this pick in round 3, where you can afford to take a luxury/specialist. in round 1 you need a long term 3 down starter.

I've never even seen the guy play......I can't really give a real opinion on this pick yet....I'm gonna look for some film on him.How do you know he didn't nail it lol its been about 9 minutes since he was drafted and your saying he's a bust.

Nah, I wouldn't go that far. It just means that they: 1) Aren't crazy about Lynch (Something I heard in several places yesterday) or 2) Don't think he was worth the 20th pick in the 1st round.

Oh cut it out. This isn't a reach. He was predicted to go in the first round around 20th ish and that's where he went. He's fast, they want a LB to cover someone. This isn't a bad pick at all.

You couldn't be more wrong. You really need to go do some research. You obviously haven't been paying attention to the Jets' play on the field, don't understand Bowles' D, and haven't been listening to Mac.

Just how many cool points did you take back! Linebacker is most definitely a need. I dont know what you watched last year but 1 ILB who is now gone who couldnt tackle. The other is getting old and lost a step. Our OLB are old or bad as well. With LB clearly being the weakest section of our defense how can you not see that as a need?

Not sure I've ever seen him praise a move..lol

This is a good pick, and one of the players I had for the Jets if he slipped past Atlanta at 17. He'll fit this defense well, and Bowles will put him in a position to succeed.

I mean, hey, it's not like we didn't need LBs who can actually (maybe?) cover a running back.

Not many 5'11 220 linebackers currently in the NFL either

Lee isn't going to last till round 3. Jets need a cover linebacker because he runs a lot of nickel and teams run of a lot of spread offenses. He will start 3 downs I believe in the NFL at some time.

As for Myles Jack, I don't think people realize just how fucked up his knee is.

Where do you see those numbers on him?

He's 6-1 232 on his NFL draft profile.
