I was thinking that myself, that if I ever had any inclination of becoming a sth it sure as shit wouldn't be this year with that kind of schedule. Between late-season games and primetime games yeesh

I always enjoyed them.. Those are the games I try and base my trips to New York around.. I think most people that are STH don't like them because they have kids and always are getting home super late.

I hate the conspiracy theory in the league hates the Jets horseshit but stuff like this supports the theory pretty well. That shouldn't happen at all. Imagine how tired those fucking dudes are going to be. Toss in a Saturday Christmas Eve game vs. New England and I wish I could understand how they thought 4 games in 21 days was fair.

    got destroyed with this schedule....

first 6 games are brutal and then december is just as brutal as you could possible draw up...

3 games in 12 days followed up by @Patriots on christmas eve?

also our 3 most winnable games are all on the road(miami, san fran, cleveland)

schedule makers did NOT do us any favors. we need to start strong. 2-0.

I'm honestly succumbing to the fact were gonna go around 8-8 this year even if we look better. I think we do 6-10 if Genos the starter. The schedule is infinitely harder. Although no one knows exactly how good the teams will be because the season hasn't started, the NFL has f*cked us with the short weeks. I think the quality of play in the NFL has gone down and this is partially to blame. Hopefully 2017 is better as we have another chance to reload again, I am sure this schedule will expose any weaknesses that we have. It will have been 6 years of a playoff drought....

Yeah it's looking like a 7-9/8-8 type of year at best. Not really sure where this team is headed either, older group.

Of course a lot can change between now and then.

true, but maybe bunching our tough away games early is a blessing, with the team fresh and un-injured. Playing tough road games late in the season with key players out or banged up and playing at 50% would be tougher perhaps.

My ticket rep said the 15th, but won't be charged til May 1st/2nd so we shouldn't feel rushed to gather the funds up. I'm not a PSL owner so I'll hit him up when my friend whose card we are using is back from vaca next week.

As bad as the schedule looks early on, we're catching a lot of breaks and it isn't even July yet.

    - Vontaze Burfict suspended week 1
    - Tyler Eifert expected to miss week 1
    - Justin Houston will miss week 3
    - Jamaal Charles still rehabbing torn ACL
    - Martavis Bryant suspended
    - Le'Veon Bell suspended?

he was gonna deliver a win anyway, he even said when he got to the line of scrimmage he saw the way they lined up and he would take the play the other way of the defensive formation, either way he was gonna win, that one word "guarantee" is what has jinxed this franchise ever since, no matter who plays here--no matter how good and by no fault of their own--they will never win here until he is gone, the 98 team and the '10 team are perfect examples, in the afc championship team how many dropped passes did we have , a countless number, when we had an explosive offense all year and a case of the dropsies wasn't even a thought, the 2010 team, cant tackle a running back in the 1st half, really, we were known as the best or one of the best teams against the run under rex , this team is jinxed no matter who plays here and all these players are just pawns in a losing game until Namath croaks, so yea my hatred is aimed at exactly the right person

not cool ... C-C-C-C-C-C-O-L-D that late in the year. Makes for long uncomfortable games and lousy tailgates. Especially since the team will probably not be in contention after TGivng

Not sure if your serious. If you have ever been to one you would know the answer is NO. Try getting out of that parking lot on a thursday night. Ridiculous. Every game should be Sunday at 1pm, with maybe one 4pm game per year. That's ideal.

Alright, I don't know how this random asshat got this story over a month and a half in advance but Bell just got suspended 4 games for skipping a drug test. I've never even heard of this guy, and I've never seen anyone break a story so early.
