Yeah, but Ken still owns plenty of NYJ QB records and best performances. Stephen Hill only owns the "shittiest hands" record.

Because ALL rookies individually cost their teams games, right? He flat out sucks!

I thought Anthony Becht owned that record.

I would kill to have Becht on this team. Shitty pass catcher but man could he block. 3rd tackle out there.

Yes he was an excellent blocker........not worthy of a late first rounder but productive at least.

its not ken o'briens fault the jets passed on marino.... o'brien was outstanding for us for a period, and that 85 and 86 seasons really had some great potential if not some all time bad luck. that roughing the passer call against the browns is classic jets. we could/should have went to the superbowl that year

Wouldn't we have ended up playing the Giants? I have a little shudder over that thought.

yup... browns went on to lose to the broncos on "the drive"/elway. giants then beat them for parcells first SB win.

if we hold on to that 20-10 lead over the browns, we would have faced denver, a team we beat 22-10 earlier in the year where we destroyed elway. i think we sacked him like 7 times, picked him a couple times and knocked him out of the game. Gary kubiak(yes that gary kubiak) subbed in and threw a pick on his first series.

broncos where a bad matchup for us... we would have taken them down. reminds me of the 98 season, if we held on to beat the broncos we would have faced the falcons in the superbowl who we smashed earlier that year like 35-6

Welcome UK. No need to be so polite on this forum. If anybody minds you asking something, they will certainly let you know. With regards to D. Smith, we didn't learn that much from last year. Hopefully he can return healthy, and we will see something good from him.

DS was a rookie that missed camp and was banged up all year....

Hope that this year he recovers and has a chance to go to camp and learn from Decker/Marshall.

  16. He was hospitalized like acouple weeks into training camp..nasty injury.Very painful in the healing process. I'd imagine it made it difficult to be fluid in any of his routes;at least i'm hoping that's the riddle. He had literally no catching radius & got no separation a very good amount of his snaps including balls thrown his way.

Make or break year for this kid,a full training camp and offseason under his belt (if he stays healthy) should tell us a lot about his future here.
