Good but, we have cap space under 3M, so who will be moved?

Damn smart move. Got to give Macc, credit. He's systematic and thorough.

Okay, the DL is set. We still need an ILB, a returner, a reworked OL, and of course a QB.

Is this guy any good? Sorry for asking this dumb question but why is this a great pick up and why is Mac systematic for signing this guy?

Replaces Harrisonat a cheaper price. Not as good but still very solid and will stop the run when we need to.

Thanks my friend. Googled it and looks like Steelers wanted to keep him but they couldn't afford. I wonder what we are paying.

I agree. Especially when you are hungry. Not a fan of the Giants' NT Damon Harrison anymore though.

    Giants DT* Damon Harrison

They're gonna try to shove him into a 4-3 so he won't be a nose anymore. Really weird fit.

In an ideal scenario, McClendon would be a stopgap for him

I thought we already signed Jenkins from the Bears, but I guess not?

...must have been a misleading article like this one that made me think that:
Jets expected to add Steve McLendon

    It hasn't happened yet...
    http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/14982853/new-york-jets-sign-nose-tackle-steve-mclendon

Irresponsible journalism if you ask me. These reporters scrambling for leads, then rushing to the press to be the first to report it, making it sound like a done deal when it hasn't happened yet! Happens all the time...remember the worst one years back, when we apparently had signed Antoine Winfield only to find that he hopped a helicopter moments before putting ink to paper? Totally faked us all out!

I forgot about him. It seems that he can do kicks but not punts.

Personally, with the additions of Jenkins and Mcledon I think they were bringing in replacements from Mo
