This guy reminds me of Ryan Shazier , so explosive on tape and instinctive exactly what we need he could transition to ILB i belive. my question is will be there at the 20th pick in your opinion?
I'm curious if we're interested in him also.. I like him more than Shazier. Not sure if he is exactly what TB wants, he's kinda small. But we're desperate for second line speed and playmaking
I'm curious as to why you like him more than Shazier. Shazier is still growing as a person and player, he is going to be a dominant LB in a couple of years. However I do agree with you that Darron is on the smaller side, maybe weak side OLB, plug him in on passing situations with Lorenzo Mauldin and see what he can do.
I liked Shezier coming out. And I acknowledge he's probably better on the edge. But I like Lee as an all around player and person. And we're desperate for speed, and play making ability at LB, not just an OLB. I wouldn't be surprised if our pick is at LB whether he's an OLB or not. So I'm looking at all possibilities there going into the draft. I try to look at it from our executives point of view also.
I would love to pick up lee. His game speed is great and he would add a very versatile talent to our LB core. Sadly, I doubt he falls that far

If Lee is available at #20, he will surely be the BPA. I would love for Lee to be a NY Jet, he's an outstanding football player.

Shazier is 23 years old, there's no more growing left for him as a person. I saw what I needed to see when he was egging on the Bengals crowd and acting like a fool rather than even care if Gio Bernard could have seriously gotten hurt. The maturity excuse would have mattered back in Ohio St. At least Pryor got pumped up after the Matthews hit in the Jets/Miami game at metlife but then walked away, Shazier was going on and on about the hit. It was embarrassing.

Ryan Shazier, Alec Ogletree, Bruce Carter, etc. the list goes on. That could very well be Lee this year. His athletic traits are off the charts, with a 4.47 40-yard dash at the combine and an 11-1 broad jump. The scary part about Lee is that he almost never played as a true linebacker and thus lacked instincts when forced to play in the box. 492 of his 879 snaps came in the slot out wide of the tackles. Even when he was asked to make plays in space, he frequently took bad angles and overran plays." It's a PFF article where the only number he references are where Lee took his snaps. I really didn't see the often taking poor angles when I watched him. Much of the other top tens in his list are no brainers. Most are picks that have been shifted lower all season and a few whom have already been stated will have to switch positions at the next level.
